I personally think some people are blowing this out of proportion. I don’t think JB hates/objectifies woman, even though what he said is still a nasty joke. My problem is how he seems to be handling the situation by shifting the narrative to “muh Reylo is toxic” instead of getting over it, if that is the case then it was really dumb and petty of him. And to be honest, if he just hated Reylo all along I don’t care, it’s his opinion after all and that’s fine. I’m just so tired about this movie and It has been only a week since the premiere. I want to enjoy things in peace. This fanbase is filled with a lot of toxic negativity lately, which goes beyond disliking TROS or being in disagreement on how things turned out.

I don’t know if Boyega is genuinely seething because of Reylo or he is doing damage control after being called out for that nasty comment on his Instagram. Either way that was truly pathetic and disappointing.

Me saying that both Kylo Ren/Ben Solo and Daenerys Targaryen deserved a better ending does not mean that they are morally equal characters or that they are the same person or that they should’ve had the same ending. It simply means that each character had a poorly written ending, without any other connection whatsoever between those two.

If you’re a Daenerys stan and you disagree with this post then you’re just disagreeing with me saying Dany deserved better and vice versa with Kylo/Ben. You clowns just played yourselves.

This is so sad. They tried so hard to please everyone with ridiculous and unnecessary fan service form previous movies that they forgot to give this film an identity on its own.

Even the cinematography felt more cheap and less thought. TFA and TLJ were so beautifully filmed. I’m not saying that this movie doesn’t have nice shots but it definitely wasn’t as good as the other two, specially compared to TLJ.

Ben and Daenerys. They are perfection incarnate and they did literally NOTHING wrong ever.

I’m not active here anymore, but I wanted to post this now before the TROS premiere just to say thank you to all the Reylo shippers who shared this journey with me. I'm nervous about the final outcome, but that doesn't change the fact that I’m really thankful to everyone for giving me my first true fandom experience.
