Like I know, no one really cares but just incase you were curious as to why I draw short Black hat with a rounded face well he did have one in 2012
He doesn't have the eyebrows but I add them in when I draw him anyway
Alan did do a doodle of him in one of the streams
With a slightly updated look but I like drawing 2012 Hat sorta as he was XD
So, everybody knows that Neil Newbon portrayed both Elijah Kamski and Gavin Reed. But only Kamski has his facial features, Gavin looks different. Except for one detail. His outer ears. Both Elijah and Gavin have Neil’s ears.
Young Kamski -> Gavin -> in-game Kamski
They are not completely the same, but they’re too similar to be just a coincidence. If we look at this similarity from the canon’s point of view Elijah and Gavin are definitely brothers. Half-brothers to be more exact, they were born in the same year, July and October 2002.
Also, we can say that Gavin had his left ear pierced just like Elijah.
And all this thanks to the guys who didn’t modify Neil’s ears. Bless you.

hi yes henlo how do you do the 3D look with your line art? it is a very neat look and i have seen it in other artists’ work as well but idk how to replicate that effect :/ quick tutorial, if you don’t mind? ^w^
hmmm well! there’s lots of different methods and different results when it comes to 3D-ish effects in art, but personally, i do it like this:
1) I…….. well, have the casual normal black/dark lineart at first:
2) (This usually happens after I’ve finished coloring and shading my drawing) I copy-paste my lineart and color it red, and then I put it under the casual/black lineart, and move it a little to the right:
3) I do it once again, but this time, instead of red, i color it blue (cyan? cyan), and move it slightly to the left:
aaaaand THAT’S IT! nsxkjsjks I usually also erase the red/blue lineart in places where the 3D-ish effect makes it hard to read the drawing (for example, on the entire face, or places where there are lots of messy brush strokes next to each other, like hair), and sometimes playing aroud with the linearts’ opacity slightly might do the trick too. (for example, if it’s on full opacity, it might give more 3D/eye-strainy/popping-out effect, while making it faded/more transparent, will usually give your drawing/lineart a more “fuzzy” look)
And yeah, it doesn’t have to be red and blue! Honestly, it mostly depends on the drawing’s color palette; as long as it’s two different, vibrant colors, it’ll work.

So… I’m obsessed with mermaids. I just had to make this pose pack for y’all (and myself)!
