I also think that people really try to make Viktor seem like some intimidating, edgy, scary, mean person when he is the exact opposite.

I like how in the Astral Plane Viktor looked healthier and all but still didn’t look exactly how he did when he was at his healthiest when he was younger. He looks older still, his eye bags, wrinkles, his hair even, he looks like he would be still in his late 30s to early 20s, how he would look had he been heathy and not dying after the time-skip.

(Also to mention in both pictures he is looking at Jayce, with that similar expression even years apart.)

Honestly looking at it, you would just assume Viktor is a beta since they aren’t ones to typically nest and don’t have strong heats. Viktor doesn’t have heats much either they’re irregular and don’t last as long as normal omega heats do. It’s due to his health conditions, and the medication he takes dampen his scent.

It’s always been like this so he gave up on the thought anyone would mate with him. He never really gave it much thought either he was always pushing himself into his studies, his work, trying to get to Piltover and when he did he kept working and having to prove himself.

When he met Jayce it changed. All the alphas he ever met before were just knot-brained. The ones in Piltover were similar, but either way they never took an interest in Viktor.

Jayce was different. They met through their shared dream to help people, and use Hextech for that. Jayce didn’t see him as lesser or look over him when he could have. Jayce could have been like the other alphas, but he wasn’t.

It made Viktor want for a mate for the first time. Having been known and seen so thoroughly by someone.

Viktor usually through his heats would work through them. It’s not that his instincts didn’t want an alpha to mate with, screaming at him to do so. It’s that Viktor didn’t let himself give in. And it’s fine it was fine his heats weren’t as long or as bad so it would be over soon.

But his first heat after meeting Jayce had him completely unprepared.

Jayce and Viktor living in a cottage by the stream. They woke up in a flower field, mountains, trees surrounding them.

Jayce finds it all very familiar like he’d been here before but can’t exactly remember.

It was the place the mage(Viktor) had sent him and his mother when he was a child, saving them. Now Jayce and Viktor live in that area. Now they’ll grow together, start a family here.

It’s where they technically first met.

It specifically reminds me of how Jayce fused Viktor with the Hexcore, made an entire contraption around Viktor to keep him alive. He had no idea what he was doing all he knew was that he needed to save Viktor.

Viktor falling in love with Jayce from the day they met.

Him early on having fantasies like a kid with a crush. Eventually those thoughts started to hurt when he knew his feelings would never be reciprocated. He opted then to push all of them away and accept the fact that he would just be Jayce’s best friend, that it would be enough for him as long as he could be by Jayce.

It stung when he would hear Jayce call what they had a “brotherly” bond, or how they were best friends. It just solidified what he already knew, but it still hurt to hear.

Jayce and Viktor struggling post-canon to be in their bodies again or rather just separated from one another. In the astral plane it was like they were one mind and one soul, you wouldn’t be able to tell where one ends and the other starts. Now being in their separate bodies again they still have the feeling of wanting to mesh together like that again.

Viktor had been looking for Rio for days now and hadn’t been able to find her. He has put up numerous missing Rio posters everywhere and she still hasn’t been found. One morning Viktor was about to walk outside and she ran right off.

Jayce was taking a run around the neighborhood as usual, his normal morning routine. He spots a stray cat thinking nothing of it, until he sees a missing cat poster with the exact one he just saw. He made his way back and thankfully the cat hadn’t left. He had to spend at least 10 minutes trying to grab her and when he finally did it was with a few scratches on his arms and face.

He called the phone number provided and realized the owner of this cat was in his neighborhood so he walked over and knocked on the front door. Jayce Talis was then greeted with a very relieved and beautiful man.
