The World Affairs Council in Washington, D.C. is “a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to expanding awareness among the American public and the international community of geo-political, business, and civil society issues in our inter-connected world.” Interns will have the opportunity to attend various programs put on by universities, non-profit organizations, and think tanks. It will give them an inside look into the world of international diplomacy, national security policy, and federal government agencies. This internship program is also excellent for networking, as interns may meet young professionals, student leaders, ambassadors, board members, and others in international affairs and global education.
