🐄 Miltank Emerges! 🐄 In the 1800s, a lot of wealthy farmers wanted to promote their prowess at breeding their gigantic livestock. Many paintings were commissioned by them to display just how incredible their beasts were. The proportions were greatly exaggerated to imply how much meat, milk, and wool could yield from their livestock, and often the animals would take on a rectangular form in these paintings. It was a kind of farmer-flex. It was fuckin crazy

Shorthorn Bull by Henry Stafford Anyway, about a decade ago I had an idea- recreate this style, but with livestock Pokemon! I shelved the idea for ages because i was a 🐔 but I finally decided it was time to tackle it. I really like how this came out especially as I've never really painted like this before, and look! A BACKGROUND! I gotta lie down for a moment. 😵‍💫 I will be creating 3 more paintings in this style with different Pokemon, so keep your eye out! 🐖🐑🐂 I'm currently selling this design as prints and other merch on my Society6 page, so you can impress your farmer friends too!
