what would snape love language be? (acts of service, physical touch, gifts, words of affirmation, etc)

I have thought about this a LOT tbh.

So I believe everyone has a few love languages. More specifically how they show love and how they like to receive it.

I think Severus would show love through acts of service. He would be the first to tend to you in sickness. He would offer to assist you with something if he could tell it was bothering you. If something of yours broke, he would repair it. Sev would keep track of things you say you like or dislike so he could make your day brighter. Such as if you hated how cold it was in the mornings, he would make sure he was up first so he could light the fires. If you loved a particular food item, he would set aside some at the table for you. Small stuff like that.

Now as for how he likes to receive it, he has two in my opinion. Obvious one, words of affirmation. Severus needs to hear how much he is loved. But not in a “I love you!” way but rather “I’m really glad you’re here with me.” Or “I’m so happy you’re part of my life.” But of course, make sure to tell him you love him as well. He was def an overthinker and would start worrying everyone secretly hated him, so reminding him often of how much you cared for and needed him would make him so so happy.

The second one is definitely physical touch. This is probably a controversial take, but I think Severus touch-starved Snape would melt at the touch of someone he loves. Only if he was incredibly close to the person would he allow himself to indulge in physical touch. He would also show his love this way but not very often. He preferred if others made the first move, but on the rare occasion he initiated it he always did small stuff. Wrapping his pinky around yours or resting his foot next to you. A hand/finger on the thigh, shoulders pressed up against one another. Anything to be close to someone but without the overbearing cuddly stuff. Of course, he loved that too, but only in private. When alone, he would be all over the one he cared for. Asking to hold them or be held himself.

Before I finish this long ass cad bane reply I need to know what y’all’s headcanons are on one thing because I CANNOT make up my mind.

Is Cad Bane lowkey a gentleman/romantic?

I’m between this because on one hand he gives off very “ makes u fall in love only for it to be a one night stand “ vibes ( puts full on romance off the table while still indulging in sex ect )

or is he lowkey a gentleman because he’s kinda looking for more n hopin for it rather then being a horny charismatic dick???

I cant decide because brain says hes both.

And the only reason why I do firmly believe he’s a romantic is because of how he addresses women and shows respect to ppl even if he hates them, Example is when he introduced himself to omega and even apologized to her , eventually hardeen and saving his life and treating him almost as an equal, his usage of the word little lady and being upfront w padme being hot.

And let’s not forget he’s a fuckin cowboy and cowboys are hopeless romantics so 😩!!!

Cad Bane Headcanons Part 3 (pretty tame this time )
