I think she doesnāt get much of a choice because Ivy is a serial barefooter to get as much exposure to the earth as possible. If she has to wear shoes, she just grows them herself.

Oh hohohohohohhoooo I see them as angry exes, absolute divorced spouses energy. I base it on the fact that she tried to kill him in āPretty Poisonā in BTAS. Ivy mostly acts like it was no big deal, but Harvey wishes she would make like a tree and leafāIāll see myself out.

Since The New 52, I think my favorites for Harley are when sheāa given pants. Not that I dislike more revealing outfits to an extent (i can appreciate some lesbianistically).

Not for me tbh. For one, I agree with you; they just wouldnāt make sense. Iām too monogamous to even envision poly couples unless explicitly part of their character.
Harley and Ivy canonically arenāt polyamorous, they have an open relationship (((so the writers can have them &@$! other characters, but thatās a can of worms I shanāt unseal š¤))) and there IS a distinction.
How does Harlivy like to spend their mornings? Their evenings? Weekends?
Often? Making love. They're such lovers at heart. Sweet, and/or heated, and/or playful.
Other times, snuggling. Wrapped up in each other in a way that makes Selina sick. Sometimes they share a chair, and it's a toss up on who's in who's lap. Usually, it's Ivy reading on one end of the sofa or her side of the bed, while Harley rests her legs over Ivy's or puts her head in her lap.
Sometimes they put on disguises and head into Gotham to do regular girlfriend stuff, the kind of things where it almost feels like there are no global crises, that the world is just right and they're living just right inside of it.

They're both sentimental about each other's original costumes/suits, but Ivy also knows that the jester outfit has some loaded memories that come with it, so it's a nuanced sort of fondness.
Ivy's favorite outfit for Harley is the red nightie from Mad Love. She knows that Joker didn't appreciate it, and what that night led up to, so she cherishes that Harley trusts her to see her in it. Only without the jester cap and makeup, because Harley isn't a dress-up doll playing a part, she's a woman with wants and feelings and needs.
Harley's favorite outfit on Ivy is a lab coat and glasses, usually with something underneath, but it isn't always a guarantee.

They would have to be established in their own films first.
Together, it would be a plot to kill Joker, trying to find him across the country because heās in hiding. So itās partially a road trip movie. A little tongue-in-cheek. Harley wants him dead for the obvious. Ivy doesnāt really care much about Harley right out of the gate, but Jokerās next plan would be catastrophic to the environment, and heās already destroyed Robinson Parkāmore below the cut
As they make their way across the States, theyāre followed and Ivy is cagey about who she thinks it might be. She thinks itās Swamp Thing, but sheās only partially right, heās a red herring.
Ultimately, itās Woodrue. They try to fight him but all they can manage at first is escape. Ivy thinks heās invincible because of her doubts of her own power and the power heās exerted over her in the past. Harley isnāt afraid of him at all, much to Ivyās surprise.
They get away from him one more time. But the third time Harley gets captured. Shes been clear from the start that sheās only there to kill Joker, but sheās fallen for Harley along the way. And with the knowledge that it isnāt about her, itās about using the Green for others, she pushes past the block she has about Woodrue and kills him herself.
They finally find Joker, but Harley canāt do it. She canāt kill him. Not because she loves him, but because Batman fucking gets him. She still tries to get him, but Batman stops her. Does the whole āyouāll be like him, Harley.ā Harley doesnāt care. Ivy offers to do it for her, but stops herself. She knows what it means to take down oneās own abuser. Harley will get him next time.
Ideally, we would keep Margot Robbie because thatās just what God intended. As for Ivy, I always thought Rachelle Lefevre would be great since I saw twilight in 2008. Sheās not as well known an actress so it would feel less like a major actress in cosplay.
