Things are getting tight again with less than 12 hours to go! Tenna is at a massive disadvantage right now because the fandom is busy playing chapter 5 and muted tags to avoid spoilers, so they can't see the poll. I've been doing some thinking about Sal.

I can still draw him, I just need to make some modifications to his design so he can be his own character and not a clone of Sebastian, if that makes sense. The problem is I can't find any inspirations for Sal's new flourishes. I'm afraid I'll come off as "stealing". Plus, I'm also afraid that Sal will always be stuck under Sebastian's shadow...

But I will keep looking.

I regret making Sal.

When I made Sal, did I just steal Sebastian Solace and modify him into an "OC"? Did I "adopt" him out of spite? Even if I do make a story for Sal, I can't seperate his design from the original game! I don't know if Sal's even an original character anymore! I'm just contributing to the drama, am I?

The guilt is swallowing me up

Here's some Sebastian art I posted in early April but deleted when the Pressure allegations first came out. I was in a fit of panic at the time. Now that the knowledge is out about Ren lying, I feel really bad about deleting my art. I feel so gullible for jumping to conclusions at first. I'm so sorry, everyone. I shouldn't have abandoned Pressure.

"Am I too much like Sebastian?"

I drew this at the time when I was still doubting myself over coming up with a story distant from Pressure. Drawing this and finding colors for Sal to make him more distinct from Sebastian helped me feel somewhat better.

Ok, so coming up with a story and also distancing myself from Pressure is harder than I thought.

How much should I distance my story away from Pressure? Am I not distancing myself enough? Are my ideas too much like Pressure? Am I not doing this Pressure rewrite correctly? Does Sal look too much like Sebastian? Should I even include Screencap? Should I scrap everything and start all over? Or start at all?

I don't know what to do at this point.

This is Sal. He will be my Sebastian-inspired OC for my messy crumbs of a story. When that story comes to fruition, I do not know. But what I do know is that he's got sea krait DNA, barracuda DNA, blue whale DNA, and either tiger shark or great white shark DNA. Enjoy!
