CW: Established relationship, Mpreg, Slightly feral Eddie being held in containment. Set post-s4 and ignores s5.
Eddie’s alive. It takes Steve a second to process it, for it to sink in, but Eddie’s alive. Hopper explains it to him and a few others— Joyce, Nancy, Robin and Jonathan. Some of Owens's guys had found him while they were gathering samples on the other side, and they’ve been keeping him in containment.
"We need to go see him!” Steve says, standing up and pacing in an attempt to expel the sudden rush of energy he has.
Hopper frowns at him and glances at the others. “I don’t think that’s a good idea, Steve. Owens said he’s not the same. That he’s changed. Feral.”
Steve scoffs and pauses long enough to prop his hands on his hips as he turns back to Hopper. "Yeah, I’m sure being held captive by strangers who are probably running tests and experiments on him isn't helping with that, Hop.”
"What do you mean by changed?" Nancy asks, always one to hone in on the details. Hopper scrubs a hand over his head where his hair is slowly growing back in.
"He said that the Upside Down had 'altered Eddie's physical body and mental state in ways that are more than likely irreversible.' No elaboration."
Joyce hums. "If he's dangerous, it's better for him to be somewhere that he can't hurt people."
Steve resists the urge to snap at them as he says "So we're just gonna leave him there? He sacrificed himself to save Dustin and we're just going to let the government keep him in a cage for the rest of his life?"
"We don't know what's happened to him, Steve. Owens invited me down to see him but I don't have time right now. We need to see what's really going on with him before we start fighting to have him released."
"Why are you so bothered about this anyway?" Nancy asks, ever curious. "You and Eddie barely knew each other when this was all going down."
Steve doesn’t bother to explain it. Doesn’t bother to tell them that he and Eddie had been together for nearly a year, that they had been planning on moving in together once Eddie graduated. That they’d been talking about getting mated for months, and the only reason it hadn’t happened is because Eddie promised Wayne he would finish school first.
Robin is the only other person that knows about them, and after Vecna she’d spent a lot of time comforting Steve, helping him deal with the fact that his mate is gone.
Only— he’s not.
Steve shakes his head and just says "He saved Dustin's life. He deserves better."
Robin waits until after the meeting, when they’re in the car and heading to her house.
"You’re gonna go to the lab, aren’t you?”
“I have to. It's been two months since all that shit went down, since I lost him, and— if Eddie’s actually there, if he’s really alive, then I need to see him. I need my Alpha, Robin.”
She sighs and takes his hand, squeezing it reassuringly. “Be careful, okay? Hop said he’s dangerous, and I don’t need you getting hurt.”
“I’ll be okay, I promise. I just need to see him. I need to know.”
Steve walks into the recently refurbished Hawkins Lab — now under a new name and new management, to keep the town unawares — and steps up to the receptionist desk in the lobby. "Hi, I'm here to see Dr. Owens."
The woman behind the counter, a bored looking Omega, asks "Do you have an appointment?"
"No, but—"
"Then you'll have to make an appointment and come back another day."
"Yeah, that's not happening," Steve says. He's spent enough time around Alpha douchebags that he knows how to posture, how to mimic their intimidating stance. The woman reacts to it the way he hopes, shrinking in on herself as Steve leans closer, a low growl building in his throat.
"You're going to call Owens and tell him that Steve Harrington is here, and that he wants to see Eddie. Now." The woman nods quickly and grabs the phone, and Steve listens in as she repeats Steve's demand.
Owens isn't surprised to see him. Well, not Steve specifically, but he figured someone from the group would come by to check on Eddie. The man leads him down a few floors, through couple of secure doors, and then there, on the other side of a tinted glass wall, is Eddie.
At least, that’s what Owens tells him. The room beyond the viewing window appears to be dim and empty, but he doesn’t say anything as he follows the man.
They approach the glass and Steve can see dark stains splattered over the floor of the enclosure, as well as a large platform situated near the ceiling of the room. Owens motions up to the lofted area and says “He built his nest up there.”
Steve frowns as he looks up, trying to catch a glimpse of the Alpha. "Have you been experimenting on him?"
"We had to knock him out to get him out of the mirror dimension — the Upside Down, as your group calls it. We did a blood draw at that time, and took some photos, but we haven't actually done anything since he woke up. Mostly because we can't get close to him. He's gone feral every time someone's tried, so right now we're just keeping him under strict observation."
Steve hums, eyeing the platform for another second. "How do you think he would react to his Omega?" he asks as he turns to Owens. The beta blinks before understanding shines in his eyes.
"I'd prefer to run a small scale test before making a concrete judgment on that, give him something with your scent. But it could be promising."
Steve holds out the item in his hand, his sloppily folded yellow sweater, and says “Put this in there. See what he does.”
Owens snaps on a pair of gloves and takes the sweater over to what looks like a small hatch built into the wall. There’s a bit of movement as the hatch opens where Steve can see something large shifting around on the platform.
The sweater is tossed into the enclosure and they watch as Eddie perks up, and then Steve finally gets a good look as he drops from the loft to the floor. He looks so different. His skin is a paler than it was before and his eyes a solid, uninterrupted black. His hair is longer and unkempt, like it hasn’t been washed in a while, and his fingernails are sharp little black claws.
That's not even getting into the wings and tail he now has.
Steve holds his breath as Eddie crouches down and carefully sniffs the sweater, like he isn’t sure what he’s looking at. All at once, his shoulders slump as he reaches out and picks it up. He holds it carefully, like he’s worried about damaging it with his clawed hands, and he presses his face into the bright fabric. A low croon comes over the speaker, and Steve's stomach clenches at the sound, at the loneliness and sadness in it.
“Let me in there.”
From the corner of his eye, Steve can see Owens turn to face him, but he only has eyes for Eddie.
“Absolutely not. He’s too dangerous.”
“I don’t care, I'll take the risk. Let me in to see him.”
“Son, he’s seriously injured multiple people. It’s a miracle that we’ve been able to contain him."
"And he just cradled my sweater like it's a lost puppy. He knows me, Owens. I'll be okay."
There's a beat where he and Owens are locked in a stare down, until the beta sighs. "You have to sign a waiver."
Steve stands in the airlock, hears the door close and lock behind him before the light ahead turns green, and the secondary door opens with a hiss. There's a soft warning growl as he steps into the space, and against his better judgment he continues on, ignoring the twist of fear in his gut as he approaches his Alpha.
He doesn’t move a muscle as Eddie lunges over to get in his face and growl, doesn’t dare to even twitch as Eddie snarls and postures, clearly trying to see if Steve is any soft of challenge or threat. Steve can only whine in response, high and distressed in the face of Alpha rage, and it thankfully does the trick. The growling stops as Eddie leans in and sniffs, scenting along the line of his neck, and Steve can tell the exact moment Eddie recognizes him.
He shoves his face into the crook of Steve’s neck as a purr instantly kicks up, and the familiar noise almost has Steve sobbing. He can’t help but cling to Eddie as he chokes out an “Alpha,” and Eddie’s arms wind around him, those dangerous hands so careful as he holds Steve close.
It' almost like a dream, being back in Eddie's arms after months of mourning, of grieving the love he thought he'd lost. Steve knows this is a second chance, a fucking miracle from the universe, and he has no intentions of letting Eddie go ever again.
Steve yelps when Eddie scoops him up and launches into the air, wings easily carrying them up to the lofted space. There’s a hoard of blankets arranged into a messy nest, and Eddie carefully sets him down in the center of it before tucking the fabric closer.
Owens's concerned voice comes over the PA system. "Kid, you okay?"
Steve turns to the glass wall and hopes that Owens can hear as he calls back “Yeah, I’m fine!"
"Okay. Just let me know when you're ready to leave."
Eddie’s hands roam over Steve’s body as he croons again, the sound on the verge of distressed, and Steve realizes that he’s been worried. It makes sense, though. Waking up in that place, alone and changed, Eddie had no way of knowing what had happened to the rest of them.
“I’m okay, Eddie. A little banged up but nothing too serious.”
Eddie clearly isn’t satisfied with that answer, and he pushes up the hem of Steve’s shirt, revealing the plane of his torso. The Alpha freezes for a moment before his hands flutter about like he doesn’t know what to focus on; the starburst scars that now decorate Steve’s sides, or the gentle swell of his stomach that definitely wasn’t there the last time Eddie saw him. Coal black eyes look up to his face as hands settle so gently on Steve’s belly, and he makes a curious, almost disbelieving sound.
“That’s our pup,” Steve mutters as he pushes his hands into Eddie’s curls. His hair does feel dirty, but it’s not as unbearable as Steve thought it would be. “Our baby, Alpha. I didn’t know until after, when I was in the hospital. The doctor thinks my birth control failed during my February heat.”
Eddie coos softly and nuzzles his nose against Steve’s tummy before moving up and rubbing their cheeks together. Steve leans into the contact and trills softly, the joy coming off the Alpha so obvious, and Steve knows. He looks so different, but he’s still Eddie, still the man Steve fell in love with.
"I'm gonna get you out of here. Whatever it takes, Eddie, I promise you're not going to be stuck here."
My favorite relationship dynamic in fiction is a worshipper and their God. Not a literal God, but their God. The only thing in the whole world that matters to them. I will live for you, I would die for you, I would kill for you. My only moral compass is You. You can do no wrong in my eyes and I will never stray from your side. I was born to meet you and to love you. You are the only being I pray to. Your life isn’t just my passion, it’s my religion. You don’t think you’re anything special but you don’t see what I see. You don’t see that you’re the only person who’s ever made me feel this way. You don’t understand how beautiful you are to me and I will devote my entire life to making you understand and accept it.
I feel like zosan has this kind of unspoken agreement that Sanji has control of what Zoro eats in a way that’s so different from the rest of the crew. Like for them, obviously Sanji decides on what they eat on the ship, but a lot of the time on land they just do whatever.
It’s different for Zoro though. He doesn’t eat unless Sanji gives him the go ahead. It’s not like he’s starving or anything- Sanji usually feeds him before he ever actually gets hungry. But unless Sanji has specifically set it down in front of him, he won’t eat. At bars he lets Sanji order whatever, at parties he lets Sanji make his plate. They’ve never talked about it, probably never will. It’s been like this ever since he joined the crew. He used to do it for everyone, always wanting to be the one to serve them. But over time the others wanted to do their own thing. Zoro never saw a reason to stop him, so it continues.
Sanji likes the control, likes knowing he’s responsible for Zoro, that he’s useful. And he likes that Zoro is satisfied. Aside from his want of booze and occasional cravings of certain dishes, Zoro leaves complete control over what goes into his body up to Sanji.
The closest they’ve ever gotten to talking about it is one time when Sanji asked why he never tells him to stop ordering for him or making his plates, Zoro had responded with ‘why would I when you take care of it just fine?’
sukuna would 100% be a girl dad and gojo is a boy mom canonically
sukuna treating his daughter like a porcelain doll spoiling her and making sure everyone and their mom treats her with respect
gojo would just be that parent that knows their child is superior in general
sukugo kinda avatar fire nation royal family vibe with azula being the dads fav and zuko being a mamas boy but in sukugo fam there’s no sister brother fight and breakdown cuz both parents love both kids
Absolutely. Although i think Gojo is also a girl dad while being a boy mom. Only sukuna plays favorites fr 😭
I need to think how would the realtionship of koji and his sister look like…
Cuz koji’s whole core theme is that he is alone and missing part of himself (his twin)
Idk the picture doesn't look hot it's rather cute 😣😭😭 why am i getting emotional over pregnant gojo wtf 🤚🏼 how does sukuna treat gojo during the pregnancy? (Please no cannibalism or blood drinking this time sir behave)
It is supposed to be cute :)
Gojo literally has to push him off cuz sukuna doesnt put his hands off him for hours, Gojo is free only when Sukuna actually falls asleep or something.
He once told sukuna that babies can hear other's voices and that was the biggest mistake he had ever done cuz sukuna talks to that belly bump more than Gojo. Gojo literally gets jealous over it 😭
Gojo also doesnt ever need to tell Sukuna to be careful with his belly cuz he never not treat it delicately, even with more gentleness than Gojo LMAO. Ik sukuna handles flowers, his mother taught him how to be gentle cuz there is precision and grace even in his violence.
sukugo baby would 100% have super gourmet taste, both their parents being foodies and with extremely refined tastes, meaning they grow up used to always eating the best foods
but also im imagining it something like erina from shokugeki no souma:
except, in this case, gojo's milk is delectable. and they hate bottled milk. it takes satoru so MUCH to wean them off him. him and sukuna have to get like crazy expensive milk powders that their kid actually agrees to drink. (let's ignore the fact that baby milk is already hella expensive girl. what are these prices) (sukugo are lucky gojo's rich)
sukuna and satoru invite you to a threesome. as soon as the doors close, it's obvious that they are obsessed with each other. they barely look at you. sukuna's fucking satoru, folding him in half and they're spitting insults at each other, and your hand is wrapped around satoru's cock. it leaks so much, and it's a shame that it's such a pretty cock, all flushed and swollen, because the white haired man whines and begs and sukuna slaps your hand away so he can jerk off satoru the way he likes. they don't notice when you leave. satoru's vision is blurred from the tears streaming from his eyes and the large hand squeezing at his throat. sukuna simply doesn't care about you.
sukuna pulling satoru up onto his lap, his dick buried inside him, and satoru's twitching atop him, huffing and flushed, unsteady fingers clutching at sukuna's shoulders as he lets out low sounds into the air between them. tear streaks adorn satoru's cheeks, and white glowing eyelashes rest against these, satoru's eyes shut desperately tight, trying to keep himself sound in response to the barrage of sensations.
and sukuna's lips are turned into the softest smile, eyes crinkled at the corners while he goes to tuck a hair behind satoru's ear.
and he takes a hand to satoru's cheek and nudges him, rubs at his brow. tells him to open his eyes. but satoru only slurs out a whine and moves his head into something that's barely a shake, eyes shut still and body wound tight, racked by small jerks, even as sukuna sits unmoving below him.
and sukuna thinks. this man could kill him if he wanted to. glee bubbles in his chest and fondness lights up his body. his cock throbs where it's buried inside the other.
Based on what I can remember on bride-napping in some manga I read. Maybe Omegaverse, maybe not- go for what you want I guess?
Satoru sitting in the bridal palanquin, dreading his coming marriage to whoever his parents decided to marry him off to. That they were sending him away instead of having his future spouse come to him (as was common in the Heian era, apparently?) said many things to him despite the rich dowry and norimono (bridal palanquin) they shoved him in- something that was usually reserved for the Emperor and their Consort.
They weren't going to protect him and were washing their hands of him.
Then the bridal processions skirts a bit too close to Sukuna's territory and, in their bad luck, they catch the attention of the King of Curses himself while he was out on a walk in his boredom. Why not see what hopes he can dash? What dreams he can crush? Take the treasures he can take because he can?
Only he ends up with more than any of those when the curtains part and Sukuna sees the 'bride' inside.
When others stumble upon the bridal procession- or what's left of it-, there's only carnage and wreckage and heavy CE left behind. No survivors at all.
Or so they think; until rumours about Sukuna's spouse start to spread and the sorcerors- with or without a clan- start to worry about a dynasty bearing the blood of the King of Curses.
Satoru, on the other hand, does not care or worry about that, too busy being deliriously happy with Sukuna.
