It opened as a blues bar 🎶🎤🎺🎷 in Vegas and became a quick dive for the likes of Muddy Waters, B.B. Turkey Calories 🦃 stand no chance when you hit up the Historic Railroad Hiking trail this weekend. 🚂🛤 This trail is easy to hike, dog-friendly, and provides panoramic views of Lake Mead. 🥾The trail covers 7.5 miles round trip but feel free to turn around at any point. 🚗 Parking is available at the Alan Bible Visitor Center📍 🚇 All Tunnels are 300ft in length and 25 ft in diameter. 🎬 Clint Eastwood filmed the infamous motorcycle/helicopter chase from the movie “The Gauntlet” 🏍🚁 🛤 The tunnels were used for the Construction of The Hoover Dam but haven’t been used since 1961. I’m extremely pissed 🤬 that one of our favorite bar/restaurants is temporarily closing this Sunday for a huge revamping over the next few months. 😰😨😭😢😤 Every time we go in to @flockdtlv we are made right at home and immediately insulted just like true family(jk but not really). Spontaneous Sunday Sunsets are always a good idea! 🌅🐶🏜 A quick hour drive north east of Las Vegas is @valley.of.fire State Park. We got there just in time to catch the sunset and watch the rock formations illuminate the entire valley. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🌄🏔 Fun fact 🤓: The Valley was initially used as a trade route to connect Las Vegas to the rest of the country. So essentially the bright red rocks could have been the first Bright Landmark for travelers. Glow up on Water Street! 🌟🌟 I was down here this week and was highly impressed with the numerous new restaurants 🍕, shops 🛍and Breweries 🍻 such as @hardway8henderson @loveladybrewing @goldminetavern that lead to the New LifeGuard Arena that will be the practice Facility for the @hendersonsilverknights🏒⛸🥅 @waterstreetdistrict a was built in the 1950s and looks brand new with block after block of unique places to eat and drink. @bandbonwater has my eye (last picture) and now has brunch (nom nom nom) that looks incredible.
