More sketches, and an Ink drawing! Looking good Feya!
As always, please let me know what you think!
More from that sketchbook from last year (there were multiple). Some fun poses, another woodcutter, and two characters from a potential webcomic.
As always, please let me know what you think!
2017 is here, and it’s time to get this blog back into shape!
These are pieces from a sketchbook from last year. First two are from a comic idea, second two are from my original thesis film idea.
More to come, and as always please let me know what you think!
Been quiet on here, apologies.
Have a pencil sketch of a sleeping somebody from the future.
More to come in the following weeks!
Let’s get back into this. A watercolor and ink piece of my Half Drow-Elf Druid, Scion Graves.
I’ll talk about the third page this time (changing it up, I’m an animal!) Rough preview for a cartoon-ized version of my family. And yes, shit does happen to us, a lot.
Need to figure out how to get images on Tumblr to pop out when you click on them. Just realized none of the previous posts can do that.
Second page seems to be the one with all the action in these posts. Behold, early cartoon version of me! Gaze in the glory of his stupid face!
Inking practice, studies of other’s work, and design for a comic idea. Word of note, that symbol on the character’s chest on page two will be making another appearance in the future (tease galore).
This second page was roughing out something I want to try in the future. 30 soldiers, in different poses, fully colored and inked, all within one or two months. We’ll see what becomes of that.
Still getting the hang of limbs, feet, and hands. Have stared to move on to practicing construction over copying them from view.
Really preferred the character in the first page’s original thumbnail (on the fourth page), but they can’t all be winners. Again, more sketchbook.
Oi vey, it has surely been a while since I’ve last posted here. Finals, needless to say, really came like a pile of bricks out of nowhere. That’s all finally wrapped up, so I’m able to take a the next week or so to re-coop and reorganize myself before I plunge into my summer work. Have a large batch of things to post in the next few days.
The book of sketching... again.
More sketchbook pages!
