I'm up to episode 5 in my Goode Rewatch [remember that? I barely remembered that I hadn't finished yet 😂🤦] of 'The Offer' and the cracks are beginning to show in Bob's perfect world.

Has his success inadvertently handed the bean counters the opportunity to make a quick profit by selling off Paramount?😱

AND his wife says “Can we talk about something that’s important to me?” ... and Bob gets it so SO wrong 🤦

Oh and there might be silk pygamas again - but this time they're BLUE. 💃🏼

‘The other side of Matthew Roydon’.   

Matthew is laughing, joking and generally being not like the Prof we know.  This is such a goode scene because it shows us why Matthew and Kit were friends - coz frankly up to now I was wondering WHY???  

They are basically hustling two poor unsuspecting saps into losing all of their money and shirts at cards.  It’s a joyful scene. 

 [Side note - FYI -  having watched Matthew Goode play golf with his mates for five hours one day,  I have to tell you that this is exactly how he is with his friends.  LOUD (OMG he’s loud), joking, giggling and very funny.  He’s merciless with his teasing. That is HIM in this scene.]

Kit wins Matthew a prize - an earring, that Matthew puts straight in his ear.  EW!  Gross.  

That ear is gonna be throbbing with pus later - ‘cept he’s a vamp so probably not.  

Anyway Kit likes the result -  "See, now you look like Matthew Roydon."

We know that Matthew can hardly tolerate Hubbard so this just shows how desperately he is sorry for what has happened.  Matthew is begging for forgiveness.
