In case it needs to be said, being gay is nothing to be shameful of. Being under the lgbtqia+ community umbrella in general is nothing to be shameful of. I hate how religion especially has made it so taboo to be part of this community. There is nothing wrong with you. There’s nothing wrong with not being straight. You are important. You are cared for, even if it’s one person, or thousands or people, someone out there does. If you’re looking at this and you think, well no one cares about me because of my sexuality. I DO. Being queer should be celebrated! It should not be shunned.

As a community we should not push others aside. We should stand together.

Whether you’re gay, lesbian, trans, nonbinary, asexual, aromantic, pansexual, bisexual, omnisexual, polyamorous or whatever else you identify as!! You’re loved here. Even if you don’t know what you identify as, you’re loved here.

Robby has never been to a pride event. He’s one of those people that thinks it’s unnecessary in this day and age.

Whitaker has to convince him to go, “Come on it’ll be so fun! We can put on matching outfits and carry flags!” He says while trying to get Robby out of bed.

Robby has to roll his eyes, “I can think of much more fun things we can do instead of pride.” Which of course Whitaker smirks at but shakes his head.

“Come on Robby. Pride’ll be fun.” He collapses on top of his grumpy boyfriend, “I’ll make it up to youuuu.” He kisses behind Robby’s ear. The older man can’t resist and he reluctantly gets up to go out, “We’re not matching clothes. I’ll put on something nice though.”
