"The deeper the blue becomes, the more strongly it calls man towards the infinite, awakening in him a desire for the pure and, finally, for the supernatural... The brighter it becomes, the more it loses its sound, until it turns into silent stillness and becomes white." -Wassily Kandinsky
"Santuário São João Bosco" by Carlos Alberto Naves - 1963 - Brasília, Brazil
"Once I set up, the camera starts clicking, then I just start to move and watch how I move in the mirror. It’s not like I’m method acting or anything. I don’t feel that I am that person. I may be thinking about a certain story or situation, but I don’t become her. There’s this distance. The image in the mirror becomes her—the image the camera gets on the film. And the one thing I’ve always known is that the camera lies." - Cindy Sherman

"I am nothing. I'll always be nothing. I can't even wish to be something. Apart from that, I've got all the world's dreams inside me." -Fernando Pessoa

If the creation of the universe can only be considered an 'act'; a single action, by a singular entity, surely within their power--- then what of our creations? Technology, Cooperation, Knowledge; we do as our creator could not; remarkable acts beyond our own power.

Law is as a river aside a mountain; its beauty and strength only muddled by which it carries downwards. Those discontent to bathe in such puddles, desiring of the crown of its waterfalls, will have their ankles swept and shattered by the stream.

I was born only once in body; unto hospital bed, and my mother's arms. Every night henceforth, my being retreats into that body till my eyes open-- sprung from my own mind, I am birthed into my bed anew.

"These images are meant as metaphors to the dilemma of our modern existence; they search for a dialogue between attraction and repulsion, seduction and fear. We are drawn by desire - a chance at good living, yet we are consciously or unconsciously aware that the world is suffering for our success." -Edward Burtynsky

All people contain a multitude of worlds stretched across the possibilities of their mind. To reach such worlds, the spine of a book holds as strong as any staircase, its pages as straight as any railing.

"The medium of architecture is not stone, but space. Architecture must remain void to function and incomplete to produce effects, because architecture can only be completed in the spatial immersion of the subject." -Thomas Mical, Surrealism and Architecture
Salk Institute for Biological Studies by Louis Kahn - 1960 - San Diego, California, USA
One's soul is the importance of their own being, a significance of self which is ingrained in all. In a world where passive, mass human presence is unnoticed, it is impossible to find such significance, soul, in every person. Yet one might similarly find difficulty bearing their soul to others; such meaning to oneself cannot be translated into any language or action. Understanding shall be empathy as one must recognize that soul mustn't be proven, that all people- under one witness, themselves, are equally significant.

Blood is the currency of efforts and sacrifices which must be reimbursed by the world, lest you leave people dry and dead. If such an amount cannot be paid in prosperity, it must be returned as pain instead.
