in my personal opinion it's more rewarding to view history through a different lens than 2010s/20s your fav is problematic moral scrupulosity by way of tiktok (complete w/ weird algorithm friendly censorship language) but that's just me

i believe black and white thinking ignores important cultural and historical context when we're talking about real people who contained multitudes
