Most don't know who I am and that’s okay. My posts are to encourage and inspire people to do and be better.
Recently, (January 2016 to be exact) I started to do a self examination. NO, it was not a new years resolution but I was going through a challenging time in my life where I had to step back and reflect on what my purpose in life and how to be happy with myself and the choices I had made. Once I realized my purpose I began to make a change to better myself first. I joined the Youtube community and started to do research on various topics. Such as, skin care, healthy, beauty, mommy life, and the list goes on.
Like most, when you’re inspired you want everything to happen over night. Wanting to conquer the world at midnight just was reality. Once my head came down from the clouds I realized it takes breaking some bad habits, dedication, and most importantly patience. This journey I am on will continuously revolve into greatness.
I wanted to share my first steps into a healthier lifestyle so here it is.
If you are anything like me and you have bad acne plus bad acne habits, you know what I mean, standing in the mirror examining your face and picking away like there’s no tomorrow. Yeah we’ve all been there! STOP DOING THAT! I told myself that I had to stop because the black scars were horrifying. Bad acne can cause major self-esteem problems especially during your teenage years. I would always wear makeup to cover my scars because I use to think my scars made me less pretty than my friends. BULLSH*T
Not till recently did I accept who I was and willingly took off my mask (makeup) and realized that I am beautiful and glowing if I don't say so myself. With the help of my husband he made me realize I didn’t need the makeup I was prettier without it anyway. Don’t get me wrong I love to B E A T my face with some flawless makeup but I no longer am hiding underneath the mask I was wearing constantly.
With all this being said.I changed my diet and skin care regime, and let me tell you I feel amazing being able to leave the house naked (makeup free). I still have a few scars left but I have so much confidence now I could careless about a few scars.
My Tips on Clearing my Skin:
Wash your face at least 2x a day.
1.DR.Bronners soap (Favs: Lavender and Rose)
Be sure to read directions because it needs to be diluted.
2. Brag’s Apple Cider Vinegar or Which-hazel (homemade toner)
3.Tea Tree Oil (for scaring)
5. Eat clean and organic as much as you can
*Hope this encourages and inspires you that you are no alone.Everyone goes through acne stages through out life.
