For anyone out there listening tonight...

In October, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. A very mild, easily treatable one, luckily. Then, a couple days after she started treating that cancer, she noticed a lump on her leg that got bigger and bigger day by day. The day before Christmas Eve, she was diagnosed with ANOTHER CANCER. A rare and aggressive spindle cell sarcoma.

Prognosis isn’t terrible, but I’ve been terrified and high stress for the past couple months. Long story short, my boyfriend - who has been unemployed for 2.5 years and has been living off the “bank of mom and dad” and has been slowly putting his efforts into getting a job - just told me my life is “easy” in the middle of an argument. And tbh...I’m pretty pissed so I just walked away. I’d gladly take his problems over mine.

Am I wrong for being mad? Should I be angry about this?

So...anyone out there listening...

Is it normal for a significant other to tell you that you’re acting retarded, dramatic, stupid, etc. while you’re getting upset in an argument? Or am I just being over-sensitive? I’m honestly asking bc idk if it’s me or not.

And is it normal for them to make fun of your anxiety issues? Honestly...idk if I’m just being overly sensitive and dramatic...I don’t know what’s right or wrong anymore
