still needs a little bit of tweaking, but yesterday i worked on this character's facial features updating during gameplay! his mouth's position updates based on your camera's location and direction, which gives him a more natural look when viewing him from the side
fun faces!!! I don't have a ton of experience with 3D modeling, so to make the process of rigging faces more manageable for me, im using sprite sheets with loads of parameters to give me freedom with scaling and moving the pieces around :D
working on some enemy behaviors a bit ago, i'm trying to pay close attention to details to make behaviors feel as organic as possible to give an idea, seen in the first video, this enemy will try to punch you at close range, and if you're out of range, they'll begin chasing you. since the player speed outpaces them, you could realistically just run around in a circle and they could never catch you, which might look a little silly :P so instead, shortly after they begin their chase, they'll resort to using a dive attack. the dive speed outpaces the player which forces you to move out of the way
