Now that I’m caught up with the main series I think I should start on more of the super editions, I’ve finished fire stars quest, blue stars super edition, skyclans destiny, ivypools heart and I’m just finishing up on hawkwings journey I’m not sure what to read next hrm

I’ve been into warrior cats since I was in like..middle school I’d say and I’ve roleplayed it on Roblox during that whole time back when it was those little tube cats. I’ve met one of my best friends of years through that game and it pipelined into meeting the love of my life and getting a house with them- THAT ASIDE.

The new warrior cats ultimate edition is so hard to get into now as a fan of the series now. It feels like a lot of people on that game don’t actually want to roleplay warrior cats?? Maybe I’m mister no fun allowed but there’s a lot on the game that really takes me out of the element of warriors and I really hope they keep the new lake territory game more low key and keep things basic..I’m so sick of people clothes on cats..no mlp gooner stocking for cats for the love of god please 🙏

I love Leafpool so much she served her clan her entire life even when she wanted to run off with crow feather she came back because they needed her. She chose her clan over her happiness and love for crow feather and sacrificed her relationship with her kits to keep serving her clan as well. Starclan did her dirty and that really sucks because she was meant to have those kits for their prophecy anyways, her kits saved all of the clans and in the end she was still scorned for it :/

warrior cats treated Leafpool and squirrel fight horribly for rules that where never fair. She lost everything and was still shit on over and over again, even in death.

I’m reading a starless clan right now and I’ve gotten to scene where breezepelts patrol overheard night heart and sunbeam which was actually pretty funny but oh my god breezepelt you got so chill it’s almost shocking to see..I should probably read crowfeathers trial I just haven’t gotten to many of the super editions yet :p

was thinking about gray wing the other day... despite his many flaws i think hes like the perfect origin of clan ideology and i kind of just love him. he flop failed his way into being the most warrior cat ever

the whole hypocritical nature of the warrior code stems directly from gray wing whos seen as the model of leadership and strength in his time, while also being INCREDIBLY indecisive and flaky and kind of generally an idiot. hes respected so much because of how he deals with the constant overbearing misfortune in his life through mercy and resilience, which admittedly are very commendable skills for future warriors to learn described in the code, but its SO misguided in gray wing's life its cool as fuck to see where it came from

recently read riverstars home which i liked pretty much exclusively to see the mountain cats from an outside perspective. struggle is their life, and if they ever committed to the simple, pretty easy solutions of like "hey why dont we just not have borders and all trust each other", theres no value in that type of life. we must push this boulder up this insurmountable hill EVERY DAY or else life is not worth living

gray wing just encapsulates this idea like so succinctly in my opinion... hes like the constant bearer of the curse and became the respected, honored cat because of his long list of tragedies. and then u look at the present day clans and it just makes so much sense how many issues are of their own making
