“Has it really been since graduation? Damn, Vi, how’d we pull that off?” Luke wondered, furrowing his brow. “Yeah, the Hideaway sounds great.”

“What not talking, or graduating?” Violette questioned heading toward the Hideaway. “Because I’m surprised at both.”

“You’re right. I don’t want to, either.” Aodh grumbled. He pulled the blanket further up to his chin with a grunt. “Can’t we just have hot chocolate here?”

“Yeah, but you should really get out of the house, get some fresh air.”

“I’m from Chicago. It’s not cold ‘til the wind is biting your tits off.”

“Oh wow, that’s an image,” Violette replied a bit confused. “And I’m not entirely sure what it means.”

“We could, or we could just show off for all the hot babes.” Ash grinned. “I bet I can beat you.” She said as she bought a ticket.

Violette bought her ticket as she rolled her eyes at Ash. “In your dreams, Laurens.”

“I love the snow,” Ash said as she brushed some snow from her face. “I wish I could live in snow. I want to make a snow house and live in the snow and become a snow person.”

Violette raised her eyebrows. “I get too cold to like the snow,” she replied, watching Ash.

“I did cheer. Just during the summer. I was a flyer.” Ash shrugged as she flexed slightly. “Let’s do it, they have the hammer game over here.”

Violette jumped, happily before skipping toward the hammer game. “We should find some guy who thinks he’s bad ass, and beat him at this.”

“My leg still hurts.” Aodh argued. He wasn’t entirely lying, though the healer gave him a potion to help with the healing, it still ached. But nowhere nearly bad enough to warrant him staying in bed all day. “I can’t go out.”

“Yes you can, you just don’t want to,” Violette replied. “Please? Just like go to the cafe, get a hot chocolate, and go back home. If you completely hate it, you can hate me for like a week or something.”

“It’s cold,” Ash looked at a pile of snow that had recently been shoveled for a moment before letting herself fall face first into it. She rolled over and looked up at the sky. “I love it. We should.”

Violette looked at Ash when she fell straight into the pile of snow. “Why the hell did you just do that?” she asked, laugh escaping her mouth as she did.

“Why?” Aodh pulled the blanket further up to his chin. “My bed is warm. I don’t need hot chocolate.”

“Come on Aodh, getting out the house should be good for you. Let’s get you a change of scenery yeah?”

“Luke!” Violette yelled, catching up to her friend. “We haven’t hung out since graduation and I’m so offended. Let’s get something from the Hideaway together, yeah?”

“I just love the winter, don’t you?” Violette asked her friend. “It’s always so pretty. We should go ice skating, want to go ice skating?”

Violette sat on the foot of Aodh’s bed. “Please Aodh, come with me just one day. We can get hot chocolate from the Hideaway Cafe and sit in those comfy chairs in the corner of the cafe. We don’t even need to talk to anyone, just drink the hot chocolate.”

Violette nodded, “Uh, yeah I would,” she replied. Violette looked around the shop. “How much is your minimum for tattoos?”
