THE MOMS ARE IN

Mazey: Ahhhh my...What a lovely pair of mothers Bearly has! Would you two mind telling me how you got together and had a family?😚

Bear Force One: Wow, a question for us? I’m honored! Anyways… 

Bear Force One: Unbearable Puns and I met in a factory in our late teens! A mutual friend had invited us, and needless to say, we hit it off very well. 

Unbearable Puns: We had sort of a… friendly rivalry? From the moment we met, we were always competing. I always wanted to show off to Bear Force One, and she did the same to me. We both thought the other was so cool, we wanted to impress each other. 

Bear Force One: Over time, both of us discovered we had great synergy in battle together. Our little competition against each other slowly turned into straight up teamwork.

We became an impressive team, and we did duo cog buildings, cog facilities, and even cog bosses together. It was usually just us versus the world. It was dangerous and fast-paced with just us two, but we liked it that way. We also started dating around this time!

Unbearable Puns: We did everything together, including reaching the maximum amount of laff points at the same time. Back in our heyday, we were unstoppable!

Bear Force One: Eventually, Unbearable Puns and I started growing tired of fighting. We were done with the excitement and wanted to settle down; something we’ve never done before. We got married, retired from cog fighting, and even decided to have a kid! Life was so different now that it was quiet and we finally had a son of our own, but I’m glad we made the choice. 

Unbearable Puns: He used to be such a tiny cub, can you believe it? Now he’s sprouted up like a weed!! He definitely doesn’t take after us in the genetics department, hehe! 

Bearly Pawsible: Mom, PLEASE…

Moxie: If I’m going to be the last thing someone sees, I should at least make myself decent!

? ? ? [Micromanager]: A lot of cogs say to me, “Wow! What an honor it must be to be BCH.2372.6a’s personal assistant! Could you provide some insight to what it’s like?” Oh, I’ll tell you what it’s like. Imagine sitting in a chair for THREE HOURS every morning, while SOMEBODY keeps asking you for your opinion on things that DON’T EVEN MATTER. 

“MM.4463.8c , should I go with Jet Black or Coal Black today?” They will say to me.

I think to myself, ‘IT’S ALL BLACK SIR!! BOTH SHADES LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME JUST PICK ONE!!’ but I can’t even say anything so I’ll just say “Uh, Coal Black, I guess?” TO WHICH THEY SAY “You sound uncertain.” AND PULL OUT 5 MORE SHADES OF BLACK THAT ARE EXACTLY!! THE SAME!!

Help me. Please.

Your new askblog is cute! Do any of your toons collect stuff?

Bearly Pawsible: I collect all different kinds of socks and thigh highs!! I dont have a clue about fashion though… I’m mostly proud of my socks!!

Fiver: I keep all my stuff from Bearly in some boxes under my bed!! This weird cog machinery glows when you open the box I put it in! Bearly says he didn’t mean to take it, and feels bad, but TOO BAD for whoever owned this before cause its MINE NOW!! ehehehe >:-)

Fiver and Bearly Pawsible: “…As for Mike, we asked him if he collects anything and got really embarrassed and walked away… Not sure what that means!”

Panel 2! i started this like a month ago so this is a rlly weird combo of old art and new art... anyways im still trying to figure out the best way to present story stuff so please bear with me :^(

Bearly Pawsible: “R-right mom, sorry!!”

Bear Force One: “No worries honey, I just want to make sure you remember what I taught you! Your FIRST question is... WHERE on the streets will you walk?”

Bearly Pawsible: “The sidewalk!” 

Bear Force One: “Good! Do you ever LEAVE the sidewalk for any reason?”

Bearly Pawsible: “NO!!”

Bear Force One: “What are you going to do when you get to Mike’s house?”

Bearly Pawsible: “I’m going to call you to let you know I got there safely! Am I done? I’m not a little kid anymore mom... I can do it myself!” 

Bear Force One: “I know, I just want you to be careful, okay? You don’t have any gags and you don’t have any way to protect yourself But you’ll ALWAYS be my little cub, Bearly... Even when you’re a big successful shopkeeper!”

Bearly Pawsible: [groans] “Mom please... this is embarrassing!!”

Bear Force One: “Aww, I’m just teasing honey! (Though it IS true) You have permission to walk to Mike’s, PLEASE make sure you call us the MOMENT you get there though!”

Bearly Pawsible: “Ok I will, I promise!! Thank you so much mom!”

i was thinking of doing a very experimental comic strip on how bearly pawsible and fiver met?? UHH i have no clue if i’ll finish it any time soon LAUGHS i’m mostly just practicing how the heck to even do multi-panel art

bearly would have been 12 or 13 at this point in the story!! the polar bear in this panel is one of bearly’s two moms, Unbearable Puns! [the bear puns run in the family…]

any tips / advice on how comic making works are welcome cause honestly i have no idea what i’m doing :’)
