Stringing Along || Mikhail & Pia

Pia couldn’t help but follow the melody to the music room. Something about the way the song was put together had her mesmerized and she had to find it. If there was a tune to be played she was going to find a way to put a song to it.
“Amazing!” She exclaimed, busting into the music room. “You’re really good~ And you look so cute playing!” She walked up to the stranger and clasped her hands together in front of her chest, eyes wide with excitement. He was playing the violin, an instrument she hadn’t seen much of before. Where she was from not many people played the violin or instruments in general and maybe that was the reason she was so captivated by it. Either way, she wanted to stick around and listen more. Besides the fact that he was musically gifted, she found it amusing that just by looking at him, she could tell he would play a classical instrument. She couldn’t walk away. It was too perfect.
Mikhail had entered the music room earlier that day, hoping he could get some peace and quiet while he would practice on his violin. His room mate had taken up the dorm to work noisily on a new project so he couldn’t practice in his room.
He could practice for hours on end and today was one of those days. Mikhail was completely into the music he was playing and he didn’t notice that someone had been watching him from the window for some time. It was only when the girl approached that Mikhail was pulled out of his trance. He flinched at her voice and immediately stopped playing. “What?” he asked, not hearing much of what she had said. “I’m sorry, what did you say?”
