“We became very good friends, really, for decades. I don’t like to bring it up that much, because The Beatles are so special that people might see it as boasting or something. But he actually became my friend, past being a Beatle to me. It was like having an older brother that had a lot of experience in the music business, someone who I could go to with my troubles and questions.

For my fellow TPATH fans, I thought I’d share some highlights of Annakim and Adria Petty’s Facebook Live Q&A:

“One thing I would bug my dad about is buttless chaps and he’d say ‘Annakim, all chaps are buttless.’”

“I have my dad’s big vampire teeth.”

Adria said she’s clumsy like Tom and that he got his big toe caught a lot in his pants somehow and went “Oh shit!” while he crashed into something.

“Pretty sure he would’ve married Bob Dylan.”

Tom was apparently like a snake charmer to dogs because they were only loyal to him.

“He liked to read these books on training dogs even though he spoiled them rotten.”

One of Annakim’s ex-boyfriends left his underwear at her house and they kept them for years because Tom would play pranks on her like laying them on her car or giving them as a Christmas present. The underwear even got mentioned at his funeral lol???

“He had lines of Coca-Cola bottles near his bed.”

When she was little, Annakim went on tour with TPATH to Israel and paparazzi were at the airport so she said to her dad, “You sure have a lot of friends.”

Tom was a big movie buff and showed Annakim The Shining when she was eight while breaking it down scene by scene.

“We know in a way he was just as much a dad to all of you as he was to us.”

He would get really excited about whatever song or book he was into at the same and would share it with “the same enthusiasm as a teenager” 

They mentioned that he liked spaghetti and bagels twice so idk maybe that’s important??

They said he “bought the entire gift shop” at Graceland

He would sometimes play his guitar in bed while he was watching movies and he’d fall asleep with it

Apparently he really liked cereal and would eat it any time of day??
