Emmylou Harris - My Fatherâs Place, Roslyn, New York, September 14, 1976
What a week! WHAT A WEEK. Letâs escape by going back to Long Island again. This is obviously very different from the My Fatherâs Place Television gig shared earlier, but it is equally worth your time: Emmylou Harris and her Hot Band tearing it up in â76. What a voice! Itâs probably been noted before, but it occurred to me that even when sheâs singing lead, Emmylou often still takes harmony parts. One thing (among many) that makes her stand out from other vocalists. Anyway, keep it cool and listen to Emmylou.Â
