Man of many faces: Twirps

Bandit King: the skin was just a red shifted version of twirps original skin so I made him a bearded dragon as that's sort of the opposite of a gecko (twirps is a gecko). And I put him in one of those tacky king costumes since he just gave that vibe

Arachnid: he was gonna have his hair swept back but idk how to draw foreheads like that, he does have 8 eyes but the hair kind of covers it and it's kind of based on Yuji Itadoris eye scars

Twirps: twirps is just Twirps, I gave him so facial hair cause I forget that he's not some 18 year old and is frequently called a old man

Deputy Ace: very basic design again, nothing special. I struggled a lot on shading the skin since he has a almost black base

Linnwyrm: this is my favorite design. He's obviously a dragon, I have him white hair and facial hair because people call him old man but he's only 22. I also gave him vitiligo to sort of mimic the black and white patterning from the skin

Finally finished this after procrastinating and overestimating my abilities in art. The idea of this piece has been in my mind for a while.

Yes this is the Undertales ref

I'll yap about the details below

First off I'd like to think that Letty has scars cause well...he was fighting and he's gotta get injured eventually.

Secondly snow civ Letty has a sweater knitted by lopezz and they're wearing matching scarves that Lopezz also made.

Another thing I want to note is that I specifically tried to make SC! Letty more "fluffy" and rounded out as well as thin lines to make him look more friendly and less hardened. It's also a little more blurry? Hazy? On that side cause it's sorta like Lettuce's memories and it's like when you think back on childhood everything was bright and you can't really remember it so everything is a little blurry.

Buttt on the other side, the lines are more heavy and sharp, Letty's looking down at the book which talks about snow civ, the crack in the mirror points to him. And the lines in the mirror goes over his face like he's lost himself.

Another detail is that I made snow civ letty shorter cause he was at least a year and a half younger than kings Letty.

actually don't have a lot to yap about here this time...

I actually had to do research on the command block and figure out how it works. It also got me wondering what redstone is.

Also that would is oddly wato shaped cause someone in watos discord told me to do command blocks

UU ramble (2.16.26)

okay just a lil preface I havent watched the new flame video YET so I won't be mentioning anything about it.

I keep feeling bad for the antagonists. Like Leo has never been wrong in chasing down spoke to stop him. Did he lose his ways as time went on yes but still I can't seem to hate him. I'm rewatching spokes Mafia infiltration video and I see Leo being so silly and sweet and the contrast it has with now is so insane. That was literally just a year ago.

"but wait, then we're gonna be sad your not here" - Leo to planet

Like he was so sweettttt. Like oh my days and I keep thinking about how Leo must've felt. Like did he ever doubt himself because of how much spoke gaslit him??? Like I feel so bad for him, he's just a guy :(

Also lettucek, I also feel so bad for lettuce (｡•́︿•̀｡)

Especially during Aces betrayal. The way he kept calling out to Ace saying he was his friend and how he's going to die if he does this. And like I know, I know lettuce is going about it in the wrong way but still he's just a guy who wants his freedom.

Also I think part of why wemmbu decided to spare lettuce is cause of the book and cause of minute. Like the book I think made him think back to all the civilizations he destroyed, and like made him realize that lettuce wasn't exactly wrong for feel that way because he (wemmbu) really has been at every civilization lettuce has been at and is probably one of the main reasons he turned out this way.

At least that's what I think and hope cause that would be really good character development for wemmbu to realize his actions has consequences.

Anyways Unstable really does a great job at writing characters. Like all of them as deeply flawed yet you can't single entirely hate them because they aren't truly evil or they just have such a great end/personality that it makes up for it entirely.

Okay I'm done now, I just wonder who do you think is the truest character in UU? And by truest I don't mean the most good or most powerful but the one that is most true to what they say and believe.

Minecraft Mechanics pt.3

i did in fact lock in and do elytras

Anyways holy yapathon below, you don't have to read but it gives more detail in how it works and the whole mental physics of it

so the "membrane" of the elytra is heavily inspired by sailcloths which are made of linen and hemp (at least the old fashioned one, because I didn't wanna have polyester and the idea of plastic being in Minecraft). And I'm pretty sure you know that sails are great at using aerodynamic lift which lets it move with the wind and increase speed, so basically it can withstand strong winds making it durable.

Now the actual gliding part is inspired by hang gliding and parachuting. And y'all know how when free falling your arms and legs go parallel to the ground. Yeah that's how it works. It works like that because elytras are used for gliding onto flying, the user doesn't have to exert the physical strength to beat a pair of wings to fly.

Also this is just me world building but they're made of dragon leather (end dragon leather to be specific) which is why they're found in end ships with the dragon head. Basically who ever created end cities also hunted down end dragons and essentially made wings out of their leather.

ALSO just a disclaimer I am NOT a physics or aerodynamic person, I have no credibility outside of speculation and mental physics of how it would work.

Also did you know real life elytras are the protective coverings of a beetles delicate membrane wings. (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) 🪲

Hyperfixation so bad you start working out how in game mechanics would work irl

Most of my inspo was from the 2000s slideout phones buttt I also took inspo from old gameboys.

Also for things like commands I imagine the player would be modifying the comms itself like adding wires and other bits to reach outside it's limits.

Also in my UU! HC spoke has modified his quite a bit which is how he's able to do all those exploites. And parrot lost his.... it's why he doesn't use chat and opt for other means.

Anyways I might do the elytra next cause I think it's real neat o(≧▽≦)o

UU Ramble (1.21.26)

Imma be honest as big of a spoke fan I am I low-key root for Leo. Like don't get it twisted spoke is still my fav but I feel bad for Leo (; ω ; )

Like he was once one of the richest but due to a series of events he's lost almost all of it. And he's ultimately not wrong in his goals as what he's been going after the entire time is the people who've caused mass killing. I also think he's at the point of just chasing Spoke because if he doesn't then everything he's been doing and everything he's lost would've been a waste.

So yeah, I feel bad for Leo cause he's not that bad of a person and cause he's lost so much so I wouldn't be upset if he "won" towards the end.

UU ramble

Spoke is genuinely my fav protag.

I don't careeee if he's not doing some major lore drops, I don't careeeee if his pov isn't intertwined as much with the others yet.

All I care about is his character development.

He has so much in him its delectable. His guilt, his madness, all so amazing. Also spoke is arguably one of the smartest. Like he's a well rounded character, he does decent with pvp, he's got the brains for redstone contraptions and back up traps, he can sorta??? Lead people???

Either way what I'm trying to say is spoke is my favorite because he's being himself and he's taking it slow, I'm really excited to see how he takes his story.

Also he's just a silly little guy, I can stop saying his "hi hi hii"

UU Headcanon

okay I'm to lazy to actually draw this out but I have a little pet peeve where people make every character have horns. soooo my HC is that all the characters with just a solid color and a silly little face are aliens.

Characters like Princezam, Wemmbu, Boosfer, Wyll, and honorable mentions Keir and dev to me they're the same species(?) of aliens. that's why they're drawn to each other (princezam and wemmbu, wemmbu and Wyll) because they have that kinship. And it's why they're so good at rage baiting (wemmbu and boosfer).

AND boosfer is like the "albino" of whatever alien species they are cause he's got the white eyes instead of the typical black eyes (yes I know that's not how albinoism works but IDK how else to describe it)

ALSO another hc is that not every character is a different species some of them are just regular people. For example: Horace and lomedy are just regular humans buttt I also wanna say that mapicc is part human part demon. Wifies is like a android thingie. Idk how to explain it but basically clonefies (I'm delusional and uu!wifies isn't dead).

Anyways that's my headcanons, to each their own. I'd love to hear y'all's HC's too. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
