anyway i've been writing my unnecessarily detailed report from Eurodisko for a while and it will likely take one more week or two, but you can follow what i already wrote on a subpage of this blog https://virnuileva-peto.tumblr.com/eurodiskorelacja (browser only) - i'm updating usually a few times per day with a few sentences in random places.

i started writing it in English but then i realized this will take forever, so i switched to Polish to write three times faster. i won't translate it until i'm done with the whole report, and even then i might take a break because 😬 i'm also writing on a computer at work and it's sometimes too much so i might need a break. you have my permission to machine translate it 👍 just imagine the report in a pretentious and pompous tone because that's how i write it in PL

btw if anyone wants to volunteer and help human translate it while i'm spitting out updates, please let me know so i can include your version on the subpage, thank you 🙏

also as I mostly keep my personal experience out of the report but i really wanted to say this: when vintage K appeared on screen, for a split second i was freaking out thinking it's some kind of genai bullshit; but i noticed it is way too high-quality, and one second later i remembered this video haha crisis resolved zero dead zero injured

even smaller update, added timestamps. this is for people who took photos/videos and now are wondering at which song it was. i'll be adding timestamps to every song and every ramble, and i'm confident about almost all of them - only a few are unprecise and i'll indicate that

the part with SFB made me impressed and slightly scared because, at the part when Hooja's verse starts, I grabbed my phone and started recording, thinking "it's so crazy that i got to see Hooja live". But... for this part, they played bass so loudly, so super loudly, it started to warp reality... i mean: i was holding my phone and recording with zoom on K and Hooja, but for every beat, when the bass was heard, the guys were disappearing from the screen of my phone for a moment.

in other words, the bass was shaking my phone in a way that my arm couldn't compensate for; moving the focus, with such a zoom, a few meters to the right and back.

i thought that's ridiculous lol and stopped filming. (later i checked my video and the actual recording wasn't that bad, it somehow compensated, but the preview i saw while recording was very much unwatchable)

at the same time, i could hear the construction of the arena. i could hear it vibrate and crack.

is there a limit on what kind of sound can get played at concerts? is there any restricted sound frequency from OHS point of view? i'm an engineer working with rotary machinery and i know how devastating vibration is on machinery AND construction; you probably heard of the bridge-destroying marching soldiers and stuff. audible bass starts from 40Hz, for buildings resonance frequency can be around 1-20 Hz, for steel construction of an arena probably slightly more (no source found). and i know it won't fall just from a few blasts. and thankfully music doesn't play constant bass but notes. still... this was a weirdly agitating moment for me

the only things missing right now is paragraphs for Joker Out and the arena after the show, and maybe some more photos. i don't know when will i add those. for now i can finally close this tab. and, the subpage should be accessible now from my blog page (browser only)
