Forgive me for not being on here too often.  My writing energy as a whole has been pretty low lately and I’m now making the mistake of making a blog for lady Maria from Bloodborne.  So expect a promo when I finish up the blog.

I know I have replies to get to and that I haven’t done much on here but lmao I’m just kinda been spending a lot of my time over on Alaska’s blog.  That and honestly I’ve been kinda salty with Fate/ recently with all the gachas and being in servers and watching people get the pulls they want and then me who doesn’t get like anything lmao.  I honestly need to remember that most times they either have saved up a lot of SQ or they just drop a ton of money on it because they can afford to and I just can’t because unemployed.

     “What sort of Archer doesn’t know how to ride a horse…,” growled Berserker in complaint of one of their team members on this mission, more to herself than her companion beside her. Her heavy flails disappeared from her shoulders in time for her to grab a hold of the horse, swinging herself upon it in one swift motion despite the horse’s inexplicable protests to having Berserker atop it. Perhaps it sensed her madness. No matter.

“Saber…! Your place on this mission has doubled in value to me based solely on the fact that you can go scouting with me. Perhaps we’ll even get to fight something out here…,” said the Amazon, digging her heels into the side of the horse to take off.

Search the perimeter for enemies and return to camp. Simple and easy, but Penthesilea would love a fight. She hoped the Saber she rode with would feel the same.

The King had to agree with the Berserker, it did feel odd for an archer to not know how to ride a horse as there were plenty of cultures who used mounted archers.  Not to mention that horses were just so very common for such a long time, it was almost mandatory for people to learn, at least ‘heroes’ anyways.  While in thought she looked to see Penthesilea jump onto the back of a horse, ignoring the protests of the animal who wanted nothing to do with the Spirit.

Artoria didn’t even have time to respond or get on a horse before the Berserker had already spurred her mount forward.  A roll of emeralds in slight annoyance as the King was forced to quickly jump onto her own horse to follow her teammate on this scouting venture.  She would have to move fast to catch up to the other with the head start they had gotten, metal boots pushing into the horse’s sides to force the animal to move in pursuit of Penthesilea and her mount.

A fight was not at the forefront of her mind, especially with this unexpected scouting order, “Berserker!”  She called out, trying to get the other to slow down to allow the King time to catch up so they could move together in case the Berserker got their wish granted.

Artoria knew better than to try and force the other to speak when she was not ready, always staying silent when she entered the room and left.  Occasionally there might be a small wave, or a gentle smile, but most times, there was nothing.  She knew the other would speak once she was ready to, whether or not that would be with Artoria the King was not sure.

She had fully expected the other to say and do nothing again, surprise colored her features when Boudica grabbed at her dress.  She turned to look back towards the Rider, watching those eyes overflowing with sadness and tears.  At the soft plea all Artoria gave in response was a nod, pulling up a chair to sit next to the woman.  An arm went around her shoulders in a hug, letting the other lean onto her form if she so desired to.

“I’m here for you, Boudica.  I’ll stay as long as you want.”  Soft, reassuring words flowed from her lips, tone gentle and caring.
