Air doesn't always have to be passive or bubbly. Sarah is a tornado. Personality similar to Rainbow Dash from my little pony. Despite being punk rock, athletic and about fighting the system, she is protective, loyal and has a good heart. She plays electric guitar.
Abilities: flight, weather manipulation, electricity manipulation
Parents: Daniel (doctor) and Giselle (more info about her will be revealed later)
Step parents: Vanessa (librarian)
Did you know fire is actually a chemical reaction? Smart, studious and a lover of chemistry and engineering. Fire isn't JUST destructive. It's warm, passionate and a useful tool. He's not afraid to stand up for himself, but is very in control. He is highly intelligent, but warm towards those he cares about.

The element of water, Ivy can be moody, emotional or bubbly. It comes in waves. She enjoys shopping and fashion and fanfiction writing. She is very loving and generous. She loves attention and can be insecure, but has a heart of gold and good intentions.

The element of earth, she's shy and nurturing. She is kind, but reserved. She is into gardening, has a ton of pets and loves to explore. She is a free spirit and a painter.

They're superheroes in college living in California. Sarah just moved here from England in the hopes of finding her biological mother, unsure if she's even alive and tracking down others with superpowers. Unlike many superheroes, Sarah doesn't have a secret identity and just fights crime in her street clothes. She first meets three other super powered individuals at her college, the ones in the picture above. She learns from them a few things:
1. Being a superhero isn't how it's portrayed in the comics. Humans don't like what they don't understand and fear what they can't control. While Sarah is eager to start fighting crime and bringing superheroes out of hiding, she is quickly treated as a vigilante, a freak and a nuisance or even outright dangerous. Her goal of coming out publicly as a super being won't always be greeted with open arms. Even politicians end up labeling Sarah and her cause a danger to society and a source of more problems than they solve at one point.
2. Not all superpowers are cool and... Obviously, not all super beings are good. One of the big bad villains of the series is her mom's sister, her aunt Pauline. Her aunt has the powers of disease and pestilence. What else can you do but be evil when you have powers like that?! Apparently she is the cause of most superheroes disappearing or being forced to go into hiding, including Stormy's mother. Some villains have cool powers. Others, like Pauline, got screwed.
3. Just like superpowers, tech isn't bad, it's how you use it. However, another villain is a fear-mongering prominent student in Ash's engineering class. A snide and snotty girl named Tina. Tina is kinda like syndrome from the Incredibles. She has no powers but big aspirations and big jealousy. When she can't compete with superheroes and villains, she starts a fear campaign to boost her own interests and a tech startup to compete with superpowers.
