He is very avoidant of asking for anything because knows we barely get the money for food and other basics. I don't want to lose my son because of money. I want him to have access to a happy life. What if I'm not there next time to stop him?"

dec29 It's late, I'm exhausted, haven't had a good night sleep in ages. We have a bunch of chronic panic, chronic illnesses, the most able bodied at home is probably me even tho my left leg dislocates at random, my left leg has jolts of pain at random too and my gallbladder and liver are actively trying to kill me. Oh, did I forget to mention the tumor and the many growths on my legs? Or the tooth pain I still have, I need that molar removed or im going to do it myself. Just, help us get a bed, the one we got is too moldy I'm tired of having to cover it with plastic so we can take turns to sleep on it at floor level. Also, urgently need funds to get my son the his next appointment at the trans clinic see if we can get him HRT or we'll have to get him DIY. We need to get more adult diapers too considering all the mobility issues our elderly are going through. If I dare to ask also for $10 so I can get nuggets and a treat for our son, he turned 9yo 2 days ago and he just wanted some nuggets please.

Thank you I did pay my healthcare!!! I was hoping with the extra I could get my meds but we ended up using it for food and taking my MiL to the hospital because of gastrointestinal pain, she had to stay under supervision for a whole night and is scheduled for more tests on Tuesday. We’re pushing her healthcare services to schedule her for a gastroenterologist as soon as possible, she has been unable to eat which has been a terrible combination with her diabetes. Can we ask for help affording her ensure bottles so she can at least eat that? We’ll need to do something about the humidity and mold soon, we get trapped in the rooms often, last night it took us over an hour to be able to reopen a door even with both my partner and me pushing. We need to get adult diapers btw. Please, anything helps!!!!
You know, it’s real nice that we got help to pay the vet bills and help my kid keep his cat safe and healthy but wow. It is obvious we do not matter at all. The moment our cat needed help we got the goals, both times But I’ve been trying to get my meds for weeks or months at a time and nothing. It’s real hard not to fucking cry
I know it’s hard for everyone but please, keep sharing, anything ANYTHING helps. We’ve been getting a bit of food and paying little by little what we owe at the corner store but the upcoming card payment is $190 and my meds are $130 and then let’s not forget my healthcare renewal. I also bring bad news, we’re starting with water shortages just like last year, we’ve gone from having 4 days of water a week to 1-2 if we’re lucky. Our only toilet is busted and there are 9 people here who use it. My kid still needs attention for a UTI he’s had for a couple of months now. Went back on my blog to find proof of the fire where my in-laws lost everything, this other one with pictures and proof that I’ve been sick and struggling to get my medication since August 2023. Just felt like having things organized and maybe make another blog to keep all proof I can save since we lost a lot of information and pictures/videos when we sold our phones and lost the computer.

I am Kareman, a Palestinian mother from Gaza, and we are still alive after 475 days of war that began on October 7, 2023, and ended today. However, despite being alive, pain and sorrow have not left us. Everything around us has turned to rubble. I once said, "This pain will end one day, and I believe in that," but I never imagined that the pain would follow us in this way.
We returned to our home, only to find that the pain has deepened. Our home, which once embraced us, is now destroyed. The fishing boat, which was our only source of livelihood, was consumed by fire, taking away all hope. The fishing nets and equipment, which were our means of survival, have been burned. My husband, who supported us with his work, now has nothing but memories😭💔
As for me, I was a children's teacher, teaching them to love life despite the difficulties, but my school, which was once a place of hope, is now nothing but ash. We have lost everything, but we still hold on to hope thanks to Hamoud, who gives us the strength to keep going.
Today, we need you more than ever. We ask for your help in repairing my husband's fishing boat, as we have no other source of income. If we don't get the support to repair it, we will remain trapped in a cycle of poverty and need. But if we stand together, we can rise again.
Please, don't leave our families in this dark path. Every donation, no matter how small, represents a chance for us to live again.

dec29 It's late, I'm exhausted, haven't had a good night sleep in ages. We have a bunch of chronic panic, chronic illnesses, the most able bodied at home is probably me even tho my left leg dislocates at random, my left leg has jolts of pain at random too and my gallbladder and liver are actively trying to kill me. Oh, did I forget to mention the tumor and the many growths on my legs? Or the tooth pain I still have, I need that molar removed or im going to do it myself. Just, help us get a bed, the one we got is too moldy I'm tired of having to cover it with plastic so we can take turns to sleep on it at floor level. Also, urgently need funds to get my son the his next appointment at the trans clinic see if we can get him HRT or we'll have to get him DIY. We need to get more adult diapers too considering all the mobility issues our elderly are going through. If I dare to ask also for $10 so I can get nuggets and a treat for our son, he turned 9yo 2 days ago and he just wanted some nuggets please.

Thank you I did pay my healthcare!!! I was hoping with the extra I could get my meds but we ended up using it for food and taking my MiL to the hospital because of gastrointestinal pain, she had to stay under supervision for a whole night and is scheduled for more tests on Tuesday. We’re pushing her healthcare services to schedule her for a gastroenterologist as soon as possible, she has been unable to eat which has been a terrible combination with her diabetes. Can we ask for help affording her ensure bottles so she can at least eat that? We’ll need to do something about the humidity and mold soon, we get trapped in the rooms often, last night it took us over an hour to be able to reopen a door even with both my partner and me pushing. We need to get adult diapers btw. Please, anything helps!!!!
You know, it’s real nice that we got help to pay the vet bills and help my kid keep his cat safe and healthy but wow. It is obvious we do not matter at all. The moment our cat needed help we got the goals, both times But I’ve been trying to get my meds for weeks or months at a time and nothing. It’s real hard not to fucking cry
I know it’s hard for everyone but please, keep sharing, anything ANYTHING helps. We’ve been getting a bit of food and paying little by little what we owe at the corner store but the upcoming card payment is $190 and my meds are $130 and then let’s not forget my healthcare renewal. I also bring bad news, we’re starting with water shortages just like last year, we’ve gone from having 4 days of water a week to 1-2 if we’re lucky. Our only toilet is busted and there are 9 people here who use it. My kid still needs attention for a UTI he’s had for a couple of months now. And my partner has 3 ingrown nails and 2 big cuts on his feet he’s kept unattended for weeks. I’d hate to up the goal but we need every help we can get!!

Went back on my blog to find proof of the fire where my in-laws lost everything, this other one with pictures and proof that I’ve been sick and struggling to get my medication since August 2023. Just felt like having things organized and maybe make another blog to keep all proof I can save since we lost a lot of information and pictures/videos when we sold our phones and lost the computer.
So just in case you don't want to scroll through the previous post: we have a car and our landlord fixed both of refrigerator and our freezer, but unfortunately we're still kind of short of food, we managed to get one of the car repairs done and another seems to have sorted itself out, but we have a pressing need to get $3000 in more immediate repairs done and get one of our side doors fixed at around $750, and I had a potential breast cancer scare/my daughter has had issues getting her root canal scheduled and the other dentists won't do their work without that being done.
So first off, the potential breast cancer situation: whatever it was with the first mammogram that concerned the imaging specialist is benign according to the second mammogram! I need to have a mammogram every year now, but yes. Very good news! So please take this as a friendly reminder to check your breasts monthly for lumps and get your mammograms whenever your doctor says you need them (and the self-exams should be done by everyone regardless of sex, because breast cancer affects men and women). Also good health news: my daughter finally saw her GP after nearly a year and she's got her HRT sorted out a bit more plus she's on a new arthritis medication (same one I'm on) and we're hoping the med changes will help her be in less pain, root canal withstanding.
Also mostly good news: our car is running well enough, but we would like to get the two repairs that are $1500 each done as soon as we can, just because (IIRC) one issue is the timing belt and the other is the struts, and repairs are vastly less expensive than replacements. We can manage without getting the side door fixed for now, but anything we can put towards those two repairs and gas would be a huge help.
And last update: I talked to someone from Legal Aid Tuesday about the habitability issues (if our fridge goes out again and they refuse to fix/replace it I now know what legal recourse I have, and I may be able to get them to replace it after we get our recertification they send last week sorted because my mother is insulin dependent and her disability accommodation includes having a working fridge). They're going to have a separate attorney call about our recertification paperwork, but I am pretty sure they are no longer trying to kick us out, though it does look like we're on a month-to-month lease at the moment.
Here is the bad news:
I am currently $300 overdrawn and have a $300 loan due on the 3rd of June, though I'm going to try and see if I can get the loan payment broken down into payments (this was because of food issues since we had to throw away most of our food in the fridge before it got fixed/laptop repair costs). I would like to cover some of the overdraft if possible.
I also have a lot of smaller bills and such that I wasn't able to pay because of the overdraft (though a friend helped with my phone bill already). This includes my electric bill, of which I owe $124 currently (I can carry some of my bill over but at some point soon I need to make a big payment)
We still do not have a ton of perishable food since most of our food stamps had gone to restocking the non-perishable food we had to use up when the fridge wasn't working. We kind of need milk soon, but a huge help would be food from our Amazon wish list of just snacks and stuff we can eat in between meals as well as the boxed meal kits I can make by adding ground beef.
I still do not have possession of my laptop, which I was quoted would have been finished almost a week ago. So I'm kind of stuck not being able to do huge updates or update often because I have both psoriatic arthritis and carpal tunnel and it's been getting harder and harder using my phone or my laptop while I am in bed (fortunately we found a small side table a neighbor was discarding that I can use for my laptop once it's repaired so I can sit up and use a wrist rest and all that).
So yeah. If anyone can help immediately with the overdraft and the smaller bills (I think grand total $600 would cover everything) now and I can work towards the repairs as well as clearing out my remaining storage unit, that would take such a weight off my shoulders.
So good(ish) news first: I finally have my laptop back! Unfortunately I got it back twelve days after I was supposed to, which screwed me over for a lot of stuff I had deadlines form, they lost my charger as well (fortunately I was able to find a replacement really quickly) and they didn't even offer any discount for future services or anything like that, so I will not be going back to them to get my mouse pad looked at (my cat sat on my open laptop and now it's unresponsive; fortunately I like the feel of an actual mouse so I primarily use a USB powered mouse). So I will be able to update my blog more with my help posts and those of the people I generally reblog a lot.
Other news: I wasn't able to get the knee brace before physical therapy, but I managed to do my knee exercises decently enough by lowering weight limits and the like. I would still like help getting it but there's no rush right now because I'll have some money on the 3rd and can cover it then.
But yes. Any help with covering at least my mom's overdraft would be a huge help (we got our first payment of the month early so my overdraft was covered even though I didn't have much leftover, but my mom is still $133 overdrawn), but we're not panicking too much since I was able to get my payday loan set up so I'll default on the 3rd and then can reach out and try and get a payment plan sorted, and I got some of my other loan payments lowered as well. Electric bill is going to be super freaking expensive, though, so I may need help with that later next month when the new charges for May hit. And, of course, we're still trying to raise $3700 for the car repairs.
