Recently Hajime got a new face-up (finally!) and new wig, and once again I’m totally in love with him. Now I’ll need to sew him some new, more colourful clothes though!

Hello everyone! I feel weird writing this post, but I’m really under a wall right now.

We are temporary house for stray cats, and permanent one for elderly ones. Currently we have Megs, Szczotka, Nowa, Tiny, Peppi, Sneh, Jajek, Bond, Manka, Ginger, Orion and Berry under our care. Few of them will be looking for new homes but most of them is over 10yrs old and they will have their happy retirement here. Every summer/autumn we also have a wave of small kittens - stray, sick and in need of care and place to live. As You can imagine this amount of cats takes lots of money to take care of, usually we were able to feed them all myself, but recently the bills (mostly for veterinary care) grew too big… The special care cats at the moment are: Szczotkahas hyperthyroidism and severe gums inflammation, she had tumor removed last year and I’m trying to make her healthy again. Jajekwas found recently, he was castrated and dewormed, he has to gain weight, he was practically a walking skeleton when I met him for the first time :< Peppi, Tiny and Mankaare well over 10yrs old and then are all on special veterinary diets. Bondwas given to me few days ago, she had full blood tests made, and had 5cm big abscess on her cheek. Then list goes on and on… We need money not only to cover at least part of the medical bills but also for veterinary diet for our eldest ones. Anything counts!

I’m visiting my family in another city for Christmas and New Year, and my dolls stayed at home, so I can’t spoil this boy with some new, better photos, but...

...Hajime (formerly named Adair), who was my first BJD, is 10 years old (though to be perfectly precise, I got him on 23rd December, so the actual anniversary was few days ago)!

He’s been with me all those years and suffered through my first attempts at sewing and taking doll photos. Now, years later, he’s still definitely one of my favourites. <3
