A little something I’ve always wanted to do- Special effects from the 1920’s to the 1940’s.
For the sake of sanity, I left off some details of the traveling matte processes…. them’s pretty complicated things!
(Hm I gotta work on my graphic design chops…. gettin kinda rusty)
My dad has access to 3D Printing technology and the first thing he prints is a miniature version of himself
This is bullshit because it wouldn’t get that much detail so small we literally have a 3d printer and it would take hours-days to create that just on the computer and then about 5 hours to print so I don’t think so no

Magical Miniature Worlds By Matthew Albanese
Matthew Albanese creates small-scale meticulously detailed models of outdoor scenes and landscapes using everyday, simple, mundane materials and transform them into an image through the lens of his camera making them look hyper-realistic.
My dad told me to send him some different styles so he can start to draw my sleeve.. This guy is amazing. O_O or maybe I just like strange tattoos.

Hey new followers!
In addition to writing, I also reblog art and great writing/drawing tips.
This tutorial is incredible if you are a character designer looking to diversify your female characters. Adding weight to a character is not as simple as drawing a simple body and curving the lines; you have to know the body structure to get it right.
A helpful guide for comic artists, character designers, and cosplayers alike.
Tutorial - Curves on Girls by *Ai-Bee
Edit: This is not the end-all, be-all tutorial guide to drawing larger people. This style is more cartoon than realistic. Photo references (of professional and amateur models in the #fatspo #bbw tags) are helpful as well.
Because people often request more links to tutorials and specifically ones about drawing different body types than are usually taught in tutorials.
This is great! You never find “large-frame” tutorials

Elevated
Beautiful in-browser demo of mountain flyover, amazingly comprised of only 28kb of code - via CreativeJS:
Elevated was originally released in 2009 at the Breakpoint demo party. Created by Rgba and TBC it took the viewer on a stunning trip around a beautiful mountain landscape, complete with music, rippling seas and lighting effects. All packed into a tiny 4k executable. A level of procedural generation that would make even Braben weep.
Fast forward to 2013 and the Japanese JavaScript gurus 301z have taken the PC original and converted it to just 28Kb worth of WebGL powered demo heaven. You’ll need Chrome or Firefox to view it with WebGL enabled, and it takes a while for it to calculate all of the textures, music and data at the beginning – but once done it’s a wonderful visual treat.
You can try out the demo for yourself here
