Yeah! I like to refrain from going to the doctors but I clearly had to go and good thing too because it was serious. Not how I wanted to spend the last days of vacation before school. :( Goodness me (hugs) tis great being back and nice to see you again

Josuke inwardly sighed to himself at realizing how that must have sounded coming out. Still need work on the whole words thing, apparently. “That’s… not exactly what I meant, Ino. I didn’t mean for it to sound like… you’ve dated a lot, but… that confidence you have with all this.” That was one of the reasons Josuke had grown to admire Ino. Despite being a six foot one teenager with the added strength that could demolish buildings with a single punch, he still had to gather up confidence whenever he had to go against something, and get over his nervousness over some things. Ino, however, seemed to be the very definition of confidence, and no matter how large an obstacle she still seemed completely unfazed.

"To be perfectly honest… I’ve never even thought about any of this seriously. Even if you’ve only dated once, that’s more than me. I haven’t even had my first kiss yet. But I’ve learned that all I need is enough time to gain confidence, and then I won’t be a stutterin’ mess around you… as much. That’s why I said I’ll catch up to you." From the times he first took on the responsibility of protecting his hometown to when he faced off against a truly evil man, he’d had to resolve himself, and in those moments he grew spiritually, and in that sense his diamond heart was truly unbreakable. Apparently, matters of love were no different.

"So… Next Sunday? Casual or semi-formal? Gotta know what to wear." No matter what, Josuke’s terribly hidden love of fashion would always show itself. "You thinkin’ of going somewhere for a bite before or after? Don’t think they’d let us picnic on the gardens’ grounds. I think they only allow that during flower viewing season…" And so he went off on a rambling tirade, more to himself than Ino, over what would be best for the upcoming date. He completely had his eye set on surprising her with his plans, yet didn’t have the faintest idea on how to go around to it.

"Thinking about it… why don’t we go get a treat at the cafe I part-time at? It’s kinda close to the botanical garden, just gotta turn a street on the way… Yeah…" Once he was done, he trailed off awkwardly, standing in place while rubbing the back of his head. "So is that about it?" He asked meekly. "If it is, then… ‘til next time we meet around here. Oh, and Ino…"

"I’m looking forward to next Sunday."

"Oh." Ino's eyes flashed with understanding. She hadn't even stopped to think about the possibility being about confidence. Before she had been merely joking and having fun with him. However with his serious tone, she sobered up immediately. Every word that came out of his mouth, every sentence, was regarded carefully and she listened with the utmost attention. It was a huge surprise to her that he was willing to open up to her like this and maybe that was why Ino found herself growing fond of him so much. He wasn't hiding from her. He was straightforward and honest.  

At first Ino was incapable of speaking. Not because she didn't have something to say, but because she had so many things she wanted to say that were running through her mind. Yet now she had to pick and choose what was worth saying and she wanted it to be perfect. "For what it's worth, I don't think you're a mess. So don't be too hard on yourself okay?" She was extremely flattered though by his confession and to show her gratitude, she took his hand carefully in hers and gave a gentle squeeze in support. It was about as much affection as she was willing to show at the moment as she didn't want to overwhelm him either. What he said, she was taking to heart and she would be careful not to press him.  "There's no rush, I'm sure that you'll be confident in no time, but to catch up to me– well you can try." It was another great example of her confidence in herself and she was looking forward to seeing him rise to the challenge. It wasn't impossible to be confident, but Ino came out of the womb confident so she had years to perfect it. It would be no easy task and he would have a lot of work cut out for him if he wanted to be on the same level as her, but she would be routing for him the entire way. "Let me know if you need a personal cheerleader." 

Flashing a brilliant smile, Ino clapped her hands together in excitement. She wasn't going to deny that these plans were thrilling her. Magazines always said to act nonchalant and play it cool, but this was a rule Ino had to break. "I think we should go semi-casual. It's a happy medium." She didn't want to be so casual as to not care and it was just a first date so there was no need to be too impressive just yet.  "I had no idea you worked at a cafe! I love that idea. We can go right after visiting the garden. I bet you'll know what's great." Ino tucked a stray hair back behind her left ear as she realized they were going to have to depart, but she stopped herself at the sound of her name.  "I'm looking forward to it as well. I'll meet you here so don't be late!"

Sorry for my absence! I had been sick for three weeks straight and to steal words from Shikamaru, it was a drag! Then I started back uni so I have been just trying to get the hang of things and figure out how to manage time.  Now I'm doing better so I am going to start replies. Again, I'm sorry for my disappearance.

How will you spend Christmas this year?

"I’m sure I will think of something." Normally the holiday was most cherished with family and Ino would spend the day with her dad. He always got into some goofy antics around this time of year! She really missed that right about now. "Nothing like spending time with friends am I right? Then indulging in shopping and all types of pampering!" That sounded like a good plan.  

ooc: Of course I am spending it with my family! I think we might even go to the movies at some point. My mom wants to see the Hobbit so I might go with her although that movie makes me cry endless tears!

What would you choose to be the theme song for your character?

"I’ll tell you what my theme song would be!"No shut up Ino they’re asking me! -clamps hands over Ino’s mouth-There are a lot of songs that would define Ino and Ino has such a big personality that she would obviously demand more than one. -shoots glares at Ino-  but I will choose one right now that I think would do her justice. Keep Holding on by Avril Lavigne"You’re not alone, together we stand, I’ll be by your side, you know I’ll take your hand…you know I won’t give in."Those sentences speak volumes to Ino’s character. This song is about persevering through difficult times and also being strong for others. My mind instantly goes to the Shinobi war and Ino had to be strong for her teammates. They had been hesitant not only in fighting Kinkaku but also Asuma and Ino had to get them through that. Plus there was the part where her beloved father died. (cries forever) Ino had to stay strong and she couldn’t let her emotions get in the way.Basically, Ino has always been that girl that was there for others and she never gave up on anything. -releases hand from over Ino-"You didn’t have to do that! It isn’t like we couldn’t have collaborated together on it!" Ino huffed as she flipped her hair and looked away. Once Ino felt she had gotten the space she needed to breath freely again, a small smile swept over her delicate features.  ”Your pick isn’t bad though. I guess there was no harm in letting you speak after all. Thank you.”

You open your front door and see a turkey in front of you. What do you do?

"This city is SO weird!" Ino ranted as she shut the door promptly in the turkey’s face. There was always something going on in this city and it was bothering her even more that this almost felt normal. Nothing about this should be normal! She should have been disturbed and she should have chased the turkey off, but instead she was choosing to just wait until it left. Maybe she would watch some television in the meantime.

Quit Monkeying Around

"AH!" Ino screamed at the highest decibel her voice could reach as her entire body froze in a paralyzed fear. ... When she agreed to go on this trip to Arashiyama, she had in mind to take a hot spa bath and relax yet she ended up being pulled along in a hike up the mountain. The hike wasn't at all bad and Ino was able to enjoy a lot of the scenery on her way, but somehow her friends had failed to mention to her that they were going to the monkey park.  Ino didn't exactly want to be the killjoy of the group so she grumpily followed them into the park. That being said, the blonde stood close to the entrance as she didn't want to get close to any of the monkeys. She watched her friends buy treats to lure in the monkeys and inaudibly it made her shiver. Those furry wild animals were just gross and Ino didn't want anything to do with them.  A sudden tug on her skirt brought Ino out of her thoughts as she looked down expecting to see a small child, but her heart plummeted when there was no little kid at her side. Instead it was a full grown monkey and it was climbing up her leg! "Get it off get it off get it off!!!!!" Ino screamed out repeatedly, unable to do anything else but stand there hoping someone would step in to get the furry beast off of her.

"That should be easy to guess! Of course my genre would be some cute romance. You know, like a fairy tale that parents read their kids before bed about princesses and their prince charming’s!" Her eyes became all dream-like as she thought about her story in depth.  It was the only thing befitting in her eyes as she imagined her role as the beautiful princess in the story.

Your close friend is two hours late to a meeting, how do you react?

How dare they keep ME waiting. This is so infuriating, I ought to wring their scrawny little neck! Ino was brooding silently as she stood against a wall with her arms crossed over her chest. She had gone out of her way to make all these plans with her friend and they didn’t even have the decency to show up. This was a waste of time—time she could be spending shopping or doing something else productive. When she looked at her phone and saw that it had been two hours, Ino shoved her phone violently in her purse and pushed off from the wall. “Forget this, I’m going home.” Her patience had an expiration and Ino had been more than generous by waiting this long. She wouldn’t make this mistake again. She had such high hopes for this day too.
