[REVIEW] Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar Juicy Pop

Just like promised I am back with a new post! Today’s hot topic is about a hot item that sold out in Korea after the drama of the year... Descendants of the Sun!

Even if you did not watch it I’m pretty sure you would have heard about this drama as there is a lot of big names acting in it. Too many beautiful actresses and handsome actors.

Back to the topic, today I will be showing you all Kang Mo Yeon’s (Song Hye Kyo) very famous lipstick, Laneige’s Two Tone Lip Bar in the shace Juicy Pop.

These lipsticks are actually not brand new as they have been on the market for some time now. However, this specific shade and one other that was used by Song Hye Kyo in the drama were launched brand new when the drama started. Just as any item that is used by a beautiful actress or idol this one also became a favourite among everyone and sold out very shortly.

Laneige two tone lip bar comes in a usual Laneige item packaging, white and silver. I love this type of packaging. It is very monochrome and sleek, most importantly durable. When you first purchase this lipstick it comes in a nice little box with the shade printed on top of it.

On the side of the cap there is little seal that you need to break in order to open it. As I always mention, make sure you check these little details on the items that you purchased so you can be assured that this product was never opened before you did. Also on the seal there is a little warning about not sliding the product up before taking off the cap as this would ruin your lipstick. You might think about who would do that but trust me when I was in the store checking this lip bars there were a lot of them that were stuck inside the cap because some people thought that the lipstick will stick out of the cap as there are some high end brands with such lipsticks. I believe Guerlain actually has a very famous one with that technology (correct me if I am wrong, please.).

As I have mentioned, this lipstick has a very sleek package to it. Unlike any other lipstick that I own it has a box like shape rather than the round lipsticks that we are used to seeing everywhere. 

There is little knob on the side which you slide down and it pushes the lipstick out for you.

Just as the name suggests, this lipstick is a two tone lip bar. There is two different colours in the bar which you can apply delicately and detailed in order to create a gradation effect with little to no effort or you can apply it just like any other lipstick and the two colours will mix to become a beautiful colour.

When I first read online that this was the specific colour that Song Hye Kyo was wearing in the drama I couldn’t believe it. I thought that it was just another smart marketing method from Laneige and that they were using a different lipstick colour all along.

However, I was wrong. This colour is exactly what you see on Kang Mo Yeon in several episodes, as she also uses a different shade of this lipstick in other episodes such as the mine field one where they write a sign with her lipstick.

Ever since I purchased this lipstick it has been my everyday colour. It matches perfectly with my skin colour and looks great. Don’t let the yellow colour scare you as it doesn’t show up yellow on your lip colour. On the screen and from the photos on the set Song Hye Kyo’s lip colour has more coral rather than pink so that’s why in the beginning I thought this couldn’t be the exact one she is wearing. However, when you apply it on your lips it definitely shows up more coral and not so pink. Just like the colour shown on the bottom of the lipstick. 

After I was done taking photos I realized that the expiration date for this lipstick is printed on the bottom of the lipstick. I always recommend checking expiration dates when you are shopping cosmetics in the store so you can make sure you are purchasing a fresh item rather one that has been sitting on shelf for a while. 

I have very dry lips which is why I never include photos of my lips because in up close photos it doesn’t look nice at all but this lipstick is very good on my very dry lips. I always moisturize my lips prior to putting on lipstick and there are some lip tints that dry out my lips however this lip bar does not do that. The best part is that it leaves a beautiful tint even when it starts disappearing during the day after eating, drinking etc. I usually have to only re-apply once during the day. 

For some reason the texture in the photo looks quite matte however it has a quite creamy finish on the lips. Almost like a cream blush type of finish so it can even be used on the cheeks as the mix of both colours looks beautiful. In a lot of korean editorials they use yellow/orange blushes so I think it would look beautiful! I will update after I try that! 

This lipstick gets 10 out of 10 from. I have tried almost every colour in the store and if Laneige comes up with more unique colours like this I will definitely purchase them!

[REVIEW] Aritaum Style Pop Juicy Tint in Red Mango

Hello everyone!

I can’t believe my blog is still receiving love *tears*, I barely update anymore due to how busy my personal life has been this past year but I am back and determined to bring better material for you all!! After all I still have my loving followers *tears again*.

Today I’m bringing you all Aritaum’s Juicy Tint in Red Mango, which I got a while back! For those of you who don’t know about Aritaum, it’s another road shop brand from Korea and they have very affordable yet great items. Aritaum, as far as I know is another brand that is owned by Amore Pacific so a lot of the items are almost more inexpensive versions of other brands from Amore Pacific.

This tint comes in a bottle that looks like nail polish. I believe the packaging has changed to regular lip gloss tube kind but correct me if I am wrong. The color I own is called Red Mango and there are 2 more colours from this series.

The cap of the bottle has a little seal on the side so once it is twisted open the seal breaks(?). So, make sure to check on these little details to receive a never used, brand new item.

On the bottom of the bottle you have the production date printed on. Make sure to check the dates to know the freshness of your products. I always mention in my posts but here I go again, date written that ends with 제조 is the production date of this product and date written that ends with 까지 is the expiration date of this product. Most of the Korean brands have the production dates written on cosmetic items however skincare products have expiration dates written mostly.

Back to the lip tint. As I have mentioned before this tint comes in a bottle that is very similar to a nail polish bottle and it is glass. I am not sure if I like this kind of packaging for a lip tint but I like the fact that the bottle is glass even though it has the danger of breaking.

Just like a nail polish the cap of the bottle is a twist off kind. Now, the cap once you twist it close is very tight and secure BUT I hate the fact that this tint does not have a stopper! WHAT IF.... What if, you accidentally knock this down?! It didn’t happen to me but honestly it can and I do not want to deal with that. Not just that but the fact that there is no stopper to control the amount that the applicator has is also not very good. From my recent online research I am pretty sure that the packaging has changed and I believe this is the very reason for it.

The applicator of this tint is just like any lip gloss applicator. It is very thin and due to the fact that there is no stopper on the bottle this applicator carries a lot of the product.

Enough with my rant on the packaging and on to the lip tint it self, I LOVE the colour, the consistency however, is very water like so it does sit in the creases of the lip which I don’t like a lot so I recommend intense hydration if you have very dry lips like me. However, it is very easy to apply and blend it out. It also dries very quickly which is a plus for me. I also love the fact that it is a very sheer tint which is what I love for lip tints to be. Maybe I am a bit biased with this product because I have been looking for this exact colour lip tint for a while and this was the only one I could find.

The Pinkage model in the photo above started my love for this certain colour of lip tints. I purchased the Etude House Colour Pop tint but it was not the one I was looking for, to achieve what I see on this model. This colour is exactly what I see on this model and I’m very happy that I found the colour I have been looking for.

As I have mentioned before this tint has a very thin liquid almost water like consistency so I had high hopes with it being waterproof maybe and definitely lasting long. However, as you can see in the photo above I have put this tint to a water test by keeping my hand under water for about 5-10 seconds and the tint immediately started washing off, leaving me with a very faint stain. Due to the consistency I was thinking that it would stay on for a long time and especially withstand water but apparently I had high expectations. Usually with my other tints with such consistency (Tony Moly! Great tints.) they stay on for so long that it stains my lips for 2 days, which I like and sometimes don’t like.

I still wiped away the tint with my Biore cleansing water even though I am pretty sure I did not even need that because this tint is very easy to take off. Honestly, I am being very easy on this tint just because I like the color of it. Especially, on top of concealed lips the color is exactly what I want when I want to create gradation effect on my lips but, I really don’t like the fact it washes away really quick. So you definitely need to re-apply during the day.

I also recommend that you moisturize your lips prior to application of this tint or any other because this type of consistency tend to dry out lips and sit in the creases of the lips more than any other lip products.

I only recommend this tint if you really like the colour like I do. Other than that there are many more tints out there that you can purchase and will do a better job than this does. So, I do not think that I would repurchase this when I run out of it but definitely try to find a  better tint that is this colour. If you have any recommendations let me know please!

[Review] Tony Moly Kiss Lover Tint~

Hello everyone!

Once again I’m back with a great review on Tony Moly Kiss Lover Tint. I’ve discovered this product while looking for a very natural lip colour, well not really natural but a my lips but better kind. Doll lips kind of effect.

Tony Moly is one of the best known road shop brands in Korea and even though it is a road shop brand (equivalent to drugstore products) a lot of the idol make up artists have Tony Moly items in their kits.

Ever since Hyuna became the face of the brand, I’m more interested (*fan girl moment*).

As I always love to mention, the production date of this product is printed on the bottom of it. I know it says 2014 and we are currently halfway in 2015 but I purchased this in January so it’s actually been a while. It’s my fault for being a busy (lazy) blogger.

Kiss Lover tint has a great packaging which I love. It comes sealed and you have to peel it open. I love sealed products. Especially, lip products. I hate the idea of knowing someone might have opened it and maybe even tested it on their hand or lips!! I see a lot of girls trying the actual products in the store and not the testers. Don’t do that! There is a tester for a reason. Someone will purchase that so please, don’t try on products without the “Tester” sticker on them. If you can’t find the tester bottle ask the sales person I’m sure they will find it or open a new tester bottle for you.

Back to our original topic, Tony Moly Kiss Lover tint comes in a very small bottle. It is smaller than Benefit lip tint bottles and a bit bigger than Etude House Color Pop tint bottles. It comes with a twist off cap like most of the lip tints. The one I’m reviewing is No. 1 팡팡 코랄 (pang pang coral).

The applicator is fuzzy and soft and it picks up a lot of product. Which, I love and hate. However, it is actually better to have a applicator that picks up a lot of product than to struggle with getting the product out. It is always easier to wipe off the excess amount. I also love the fact that this bottle has a great stopper. I have reviewed a Etude House lip tint before (click here) and even though the product itself was nice..... the stopper. It was the worst! The product would spill everywhere like water, even getting the applicator out of bottle, the tint would pop everywhere. Consistency is a big factor too but stopper is the biggest.

Unlike applicators from other lip tints, this one when you look at it from the side is almost flat. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet but I can say that it somehow makes the application easier and smoother.

When applied it glides on very smooth and almost creamy. The colour is very pigmented yet still sheer since it is a tint after all. The consistency reminds me of Etude House Color Pop tints which I have a review for here. When blended it has the most beautiful baby pink lip colour ever. However, the problem I have with this tint is that on the days I have somewhat dry lips this is a No-No-NO. Even if I blend it out it won’t blend out and just sit in the middle of my lips or worse sits in the cracks of my lips. So moisturize!! That’s the key word with this tint.

Great thing about this tint is that once it sets it doesn’t move at all. It’s staying power is no comparable to any other tints I have ever tried. When you are blending it out try to use a cotton bud or something of that sort. If you stain your fingers it will stay there until the next day. Which is a con and pro. It stays too long, pro. It stay TOO long, con.

Another complaint about this tint is the taste. It’s not that I have purposely tasted it but it has this weird bitter, cherry, cough syrup kind of flavour. It’s the taste I detest the most but maybe it’s just me. I dislike anything that is cherry flavoured (not the cherry itself but for me anything flavoured with cherry reminds of cough syrups) however, some people might like it.

As I have said before this tint has a great staying power. The above is taken after keeping my hand under running water for 30-45 seconds. As you can see the stain is still there and very vibrant. Even the blended out part is still there.

Afterwards, I tried removing it with my make up remover, Biore Micellar water and then I used The Face Shop cleansing oil however the tint was still there. The thing is that since this was applied on my hand I could be more abrasive while removing it however when it’s on the lips you can’t be too strong. Overall, it’s a great tint because it really does stain your lips. This tint also comes in a lot of different colours so there is variety. However, you need to know that it is HARD to remove this tint off of your lips unless you maybe scrub your lips with a lip scrub or if you are okay with having tint on your lips the next day too. I love the colour and I love the consistency however I really need to moisturize my lips prior to application of this tint.

Etude House Face Conditioning Cream~~

Hello everyone!

Today I want to talk about a great product which is the Etude House Conditioning Cream in the light version. I’ve been gone for too long but I’m back with great reviews which I will start posting all back to back. I’ve been working on a great project with 언니 and I can not wait to post about it on here.

Etude House Conditioning Cream comes in two types; light and original. Light version has a pink design and the original has a blue design on it. It also comes in 2 sizes and I bought the smaller version as I like to try out a lot of products and don’t want to waste anything.

This cream comes in a nice tube bottle with a twist off cap. I don’t know how big the regular size is but mini size is as big as my hand and there is a lot of product inside, 1.41oz. to be exact. The tube is a soft squeeze type so you can get the product out easily however make sure you don’t squeeze it too hard or you will have excess product and it will possibly go to waste.

On the back of the tube you have the production date written. As I always say, make sure to check this date so you don’t get a old product or a expired product. Also most of the things will go bad in 6 to 12 months once it is opened. It is usually written on the packages.

This cream comes in a nice tube with a twist off cap. When you first open it there should be a seal just like the one you see in the photo. I think this is a great way of packaging as it ensures that the product has never been opened before me so the expiry of this product will be according to the time that i first opened it.

This is what it looks like once the seal is removed. The hole is quite big but it is easy to manage how much product you want to get out of the tube. This cream is a little runny though so don’t squeeze a lot since most of the cream already comes out easily.

Just as the name suggests, this cream is very light. The consistency is a little runny but honestly this cream feels extremely light and thin. It is almost impossible to feel it on the face once it is applied. For more than a month now I’ve been using this everyday on my face as a base under my make up and it feels great. Even on the days I don’t wear make up I still put this on. It gives a photoshopped and filtered skin look.

Once blended out, it gives a very nice glow to the face and evens out my skin just a bit. I’m already a very pale person, especially my face but this cream still gives a sheen brightness to my skin. I like the fact that it dries very quickly once it is applied.

Before purchasing this product I had read several reviews on the original one and most of the people had written how it starts to lump and starts peeling when you are blending it in your skin. I think that is just the original formula as I can say that has never happened to me with the light formula. However I have used the original one with the sample I received and that still didn’t happen to me. If it ever happens I will definitely update this post.

As everyone knows moisturizers are very important as the base of any make up look you are going for but I prefer to use moisturizers that dries very quickly, the only ones I found that dries quickly are the La Mer gel type and IOPE Ultimate Hydro cream which I have a review about here and now this Etude House Face Conditioning cream.

I recommend this to everyone with combination skin type and people that are lazy about their skincare routine in the morning and just wants a quick pick me up to their skin or a perfect base under their makeup.

Where do you buy your korean products? :)

Hello :) I usually buy my korean products from the brand stores but when I purchase them online I always get it from www.beautynetkorea.com (www.f2plus1.com). I find that website the best because the prices are almost the same with stores and they have a point system which I love because I buy a lot of things and get more with my points :) I have also purchased cosmetics from www.pinkyparadise.com before but I like beautynetkorea better becuase of the shipping, gifts and samples :) I wish I could recommend you more places but I dont know any other websites because I shop from my local stores :o Sorry for the long answer! Hello everyone! 

I’m back with a short review for a product from a brand I have never talked about. It is Bbia. Some of you may have heard about it already but for those who haven’t, as you may have already guessed it is a Korean cosmetics brand. A lot of Korean beauty bloggers use a lot of eye makeup products from Bbia so I thought I should give the gel eyeliner a try and compare it to Clio Gelpresso as there is a big price difference between them. 

I bought the #22 Royal Bronze. It is a beautiful golden-bronze colour, I love to use it for my lower waterline. It creates a beautiful bronze smokey look. It is a very soft liner so you can control the opacity of the colour also it blends out beautifully so you can use it a eyeshadow. However you need to be fast to blend it out because once it sets it doesn’t move anywhere. There is also a sharpener on the other side of the pencil so once the tip gets dull you can sharpen it for a better precision. 

It is great product with a great price. I haven’t tried any other colours yet but I’m planning to. If you are on a budget and need a great gel pencil I definitely recommend this. The only unpleasant thing that happened with this eye pencil is that, I pulled the cap off very past and broke the gel pencil. However I put it back inside and I still can twist is up & down with no problems.

Etude House Ever Dew Boosting Oil~ ❤

I’m back with a review I wish I posted 2 months ago. *Sigh* I need to organize my reviews in a better way! Anyways(!), today I’m writing about Etude House Ever Dew Boosting Oil!

This oil came out couple months ago and I knew I had to get my hands on it right away!

There are two types of it and I got the pink one which is the Boosting Oil. It comes in a beautiful pink box and a pink glass bottle! The yellow one is especially for very dry skin so I got the pink one which I believe is better for combination skin types.

On the side of the box there is a description for the properties and directions of this oil. Before this came out Etude House had a different type of oil called Any Oil 21 and I wanted to try it for the longest time but never had the chance to so when I saw this and read the description I knew I had to get it. As this type of skincare product is quite vital during the cold weather.

On the bottom of the bottle just like most of the Etude House products there is a production date printed on. As I always say, please make sure to check these dates on the products you receive as the freshness of these products are very important for our skin and health

The bottle has a nice twist off cap with a button on top for the dropper. Even though in the promotional photos the bottle looks quite big it is actually only the size of my palm. So I was quite shocked to see that it was quite smaller than what I had expected it to be.

When you twist off the cap a nice little dropper comes out of the bottle. I think this is a great packaging for such product as it would be quite hard to measure the amount you want to get out of the bottle. However the dropper is very nice and convenient so, you can get the amount that you need and nothing goes to waste. Also it is very hygienic as nothing touches the oil inside the bottle.

This winter my skin dried up very bad and especially my skin around my nose, forehead started peeling which made my make up look very unattractive. I have never used a facial oil before but my favourite makeup artist Pony always uses oil in her book so I really wanted to try it. Last fall, I only tried the La Prairie dry oil and had fallen in love with it but didn’t purchase it due to price since I’ve never used a oil on my face before.

When blended in to the skin this oil reminds me a lot of the La Prairie Dry Oil. I have to say the smell and the fragrance of this oil is amazing! It smells very fresh and flower like. However, it is not overpowering and doesn’t last long once it is applied on the face. The feeling of this oil I have to say is not very oily, it’s actually more like very soft and cool water(?) type. Honestly, I’m not sure how to explain the consistency very well but it definitely doesn’t have a greasy and oily feeling. It gives the skin perfect moisture and softness. I especially like to use it after shower or sometimes mix it in with my CC or BB cream.

After applying, in few minutes my skin absorbs the moisture from the oil and it leaves my skin very soft and smooth with a very healthy dew. I especially love to use this oil before I put my make up on as it makes my skin very smooth and prepares a great surface for my base makeup.

Before I started using this oil I was kind of scared that this might cause my skin to breakout as it is in fact oil. However, it didn’t cause any breakouts nor milk spots because of excess moisture which I believe is a great thing! It gives the perfect amount of moisture to my skin and locks in the moisture from my other skincare products. I especially recommend this to people with combination skin. Even though winter is over and spring is here I think it is still a great skincare product to add to your regimen as the type of our skin is affected from the weather of the seasonal change.

Etude House Dear My Wish Lips Talk~

Hello everyone!

I’m back with a review of a really awesome Etude House product which a lot of people saw on Krystal and in the drama “My Lovely Girl” which she acted along side Rain (비).

It is the Etude House Dear My Wish Lips Talk lipsticks.

These lipsticks got very well known after her appearance in the drama My Lovely Girl as she was seen wearing several colours of this. Also the CF that Krystal played in for these lipsticks were so cute that I think everyone should watch it. Male model Nam Joo Hyuk (남주혁) is also another reason to watch the CF for these lipsticks.

This lipstick comes in a beautiful box with a very cute design on it that almost reminds me of Cinderella’s carriage. On top of the box there is a very cute heart shaped label that seals the box, also indicates the colour of the lipstick. I picked the 3 colours that Krystal used in the drama “My Lovely Girl” or also known as “She’s Lovable”.

On the side you can see the seal on the box that connects to the heart on top of the box and the ingredients label on the side. When you get your lipstick make sure to check that the seal is still unbroken so you can make sure you got a brand new, unused lipstick.

The packaging of this lipstick.... I can’t even explain in words. It is extremely pretty. Even though I have used a lot of tints from Etude House this is my first lipstick from this brand. The lipstick comes in a beautiful pink package with a bow on it. It is the second beautiful lipstick design that I see after Anna Sui’s lipstick. I’m usually all for the Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent simple yet elegant packaging but I can’t help get excited over these cute Etude House lipsticks.

On the bottom of the lipstick I expected there to be expiration dates or production dates just like any other Etude House products but instead there is a number that I have no idea what it is and on the label underneath the numbers you have the name of the colour of the lipstick.

From left to right the colours are PK003, OR201 and BE101. In the drama Krystal wore the BE101 most of the time but I believe she wore it in a gradation for a natural look. Her makeup artist also revealed that in some of the episodes she mixed the colours OR201 and BE101. I have to say those two colours are extremely beautiful mixed and alone.

Krystal also wore the colour PK003 in the drama. This colour is especially seen on her when she went to the club party with the company she was working for (I don’t want to spoil the drama for anyone who has not seen it yet).

These lipsticks ever since I started using, has become my every day lip item. In my previous lip posts I always emphasize that my lips are extremely dry and chapped. Which is why I love my Chanel lipstick that I reviewed here. For me lip products needs to be very moisturizing almost like lip balms otherwise I have trouble with the way it looks. BUT! OH MY GOD! These lipsticks are so CREAMY, MOISTURIZING and SOFT that I like them better then my Chanel lipstick that I raved so much about.

Another great thing about these lipsticks is that the colours are very opaque and are true to the colour that you see in the lipstick bullet. In the photos above the colours are product of only 1 swatch so you can see how amazing the pigmentation is.

I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about these lipsticks. I can sit here and rave about them for hours and result would still be the same. I’m very glad that I tried them out especially during the cold months where my lips need extra moisture. I’m definitely going back to purchase few more colours. Also I’m sorry about this new background which I’m not sure how to work with yet but for those who are missing it as much as I do, I will try to bring back my Union Jack background. Or should I keep this one? Let me know what you think maybe?

Hello everyone! 

I'm back with a short review! I didn't want to be gone for too long while I'm working on some really great reviews for some really awesome products that I have talked about in my previous haul post here. It is about the Liole Seaweed Facial Mist. 

For a while now I've been wanting to buy a facial mist and I'm glad I got to get this as my first. It feels really nice! After shower I spray this on my face or after I wash my face and wipe it with my toner I use this right after and I have to say it makes my face feel great! It locks in the moisture and preps my skin for everything that comes next. 

Another great thing is that even though it includes all seaweed things it doesn't have any fragrance to it. So there is no weird smell that will linger even after spraying it straight on to your face. I also love the fact that this comes in a spray bottle rather than the aerosol bottles that other brands make. So this will last a long while.

I think that the price of this mist is great and I definitely feel improvement on my skin also I love the fact that with just this mist my skin feels very soft and moist. I can not wait to try the Hadanomy and Innisfree ones but I have to say I really like this facial mist and recommend it to everyone that needs a quick something for their skin.

Yves Saint Laurent Lipstick No. 52~

Hello everyone! 

I’m back with a extremely delayed post that I was actually going to post in May. It is the sold out everywhere, famous Cheon Song Yi lipstick from Yves Saint Laurent in No. 52!

Way back in March after I was done watching the famous drama, You Who Came From The Stars, I was determined to find this lipstick but it was sold out everywhere. I was wait listed on the website and all the stores that sell YSL Beauty here in where I live. I was even almost tempted to buy it for expensive on Ebay as people who got hold of it auctioned it off. 

However, in May on my birthday 언니 surprised me with a Jo Malone that I’ve been wanting and also this lipstick at the bottom of the gift box! I was shocked cause even after 2 months of being on the wait list and also frequenting the stores, I couldn’t get it but she somehow did! Also, this colour is still wait listed online and still not available in most of the stores!

Back to the review, this lipstick comes in a beautiful, classic Yves Saint Laurent gold plated lipstick packaging. Just like most of the high end lipsticks this ones packaging is also square shaped, a bit bulkier than Chanel and Dior but still fits perfectly in lipstick containers.

Apparently this packaging is a new edition unlike the old ones. I never owned the old ones but my mom did and from what I know the old packages had a pop out mirror when you pulled out the cap. I wish they kept the old packaging because it seemed very convenient for those of us that only takes their lipstick in their purse.

Just like any classic lipstick, this one is also twist up bullet kind. On the lipstick bullet there is a very pretty YSL logo imprint and I have no words for the colour. It is a extremely beautiful coral/pink yet very bright colour. What I love about this lipstick is that the colour pay off is exactly the same colour you see as the bullet.

This lipstick applies very creamy and the colour is very opaque. I thought because it is very creamy and moisturizing the colour would be sheer but it was very opaque to my surprise, which I love. When blended it looks like a very pretty blush colour otherwise the colour is very bright pink/coral.

Cheon Song Yi was seen wearing this colour with YSL Glossy Stain in No. 105 over it. Which makes this colour a lot more brighter and glossy than it already is. Usually when I apply this colour I only put the No. 105 on the center of my lips for more plump looking lips and a better gradient effect. 

Even though this colour is a very spring and summer representing one I still find it very easy to wear during fall and winter when I blend it a bit for a naturally pink lip colour.  Also due to it’s moisturizing kind it also feels great on the lips.

Korean Cosmetics Haul~

Hello everyone! 

I hope all of you had a great Christmas with your family and loved ones and received the gifts that you wished for! I certainly did get really awesome stuff! 양승부인 고마워!!  Luckily 오빠 let me choose my own gifts so I bought all the make up things that I had my eyes on for a while.

I ordered and received my package about 3 weeks ago but honestly I didn’t have any time to post this haul because I was busy with helping my 언니 also redecorating my bedroom (which is why my posts might be delayed because I can’t seem to find a nice spot for photos yet). Because 오빠 let me order everything I wanted, I really did. I bought Etude House lipsticks, eyeshadow palette, blush and face conditioning cream. I also bought my favourite Skinfood face scrub. Innisfree face masks, sleeping mask, lotion and No Sebum powder, which I’ve been dying to try out for a long time now!! I can’t wait to use it on my eyelids and under eyes. I got Aritaum and Tony Moly lip tints. Clio eyeliners and Bbia eyeshadow, which I think has the perfect colour. 

I also got Biore makeup cleanser, 3M pimple sticker things and also a Lioele face mist. I’ve been wanting to get a nice face mist but some of the ones I’ve been wanting were too expensive for the amount they had in the bottle so I decided to give this one a try. I was watching a skincare video of MelodeeMorita and saw that she uses face mist after shower to keep her skin moist so I thought I have to try it too. I’m hoping to test out some other brands later. 

After I received my first package, I realized there were some other things that I still wanted. So I ordered them too. Luckily 오빠 was being very nice to me because besides  cosmetics I ordered many other things. Well back to the topic. I ordered Etude House lipstick and the new Ever Dew facial oil! I can’t believe this oil is already available as it just come out in Korea too. I also ordered Bbia eye pencil after reading many reviews and checking the colours because I think it’s a amazing colour for a amazingly low price. I also ordered a second Innisfree sleeping mask because the first one was for 양승부인. 

I can’t wait to use all these and post reviews about them for you all. Especially Etude House lipsticks... I ordered the 3 colours that Krystal used in her drama because I think the colours looked awesome and very natural on her. Also because I have a thing for Krystal’s style and fashion. I can’t believe it’s been over 3 weeks I received my package but still haven’t been able to use anything but the Biore makeup remover.

The Face Shop O2 Mask~

I’m back with another review post!! It’s a product that you have seen from a very old haul post! I’ve been meaning to put a review on this product for a while now but honestly I never had a chance to properly use and place my thoughts on this product! It is The Face Shop O2 Mask!! 

The Face Shop has so many skincare products that when I go in the store I try to check them all out and read the information on them. That is how I found this product in the store. I'm glad I did because I think it's amazing.

This mask contains 500mg of Iceberg Water from Newfoundland, Canada as the packaging says. Since I wasn’t the one who made this product I can’t do anything but trust the information on the packaging. However, I trust The Face Shop as they are a great beauty and skincare brand. Another great thing about this product is that just like most of The Face Shop products it is also made with a 7-free formula, it is dermatologist tested and it does not contain any animal ingredients.

This face mask comes in a very convenient and hygienic pump bottle. I like pump bottles more than any other type of packaging. It feels the most hygienic way of using skincare and cosmetic products. From what I’ve heard it actually is the most hygienic way too. The only con about this pump bottle is that due to the nature of this mask after first use the pump can get plugged. In my case after removing the dried residue off of the tip I did not have any problems but if your mask doesn’t come out of the pump I recommend holding the tip of the pump under warm running water.

On the bottom of the package you have the expiration date of the product. Like I always mention whenever you are purchasing skincare and cosmetic products always make sure the expiration or production date because all these creams and masks have a shelf life and you wouldn’t want to put something that’s gone bad on your face! Also on the packages there is always a little image that shows how long a product can be used once it’s opened. (Reminder for Korean products: 까지 is used for expiration and 제조 is used for production date)

The consistency of this mask feels like a thick gel type essence when first applied. During the application, it gets a bit sticky which I found a bit weird at first but it’s not uncomfortable sticky. Also, a little goes a long way for me but I recommend spreading out the mask as fast as you can before it starts to bubble up!! Otherwise it is possible to waste a lot of this mask. 

When first applied it is transparent but in a short amount of time (about 5 seconds) it starts turning white and little bubbles start to appear! Also when first applied the mask feels a bit sticky so applying small amount one at a time to each area of the face is important.

While the bubbles are forming it feels very tingly on the face! I can’t even describe how tingly it feels! However it’s not a bad irritation tingly feeling instead it’s a good(?) one! It feels as if all your pores are getting clean.

Once the bubbles are formed, as the directions suggest you have to slowly massage your face. During the facial massage, the bubbles burst and you get a weird refreshing sense on your skin. It’s a very good feeling however it’s not really possible to explain with words fully.

When you are done massaging your face the bubbles start to form again however in a less amount than the first time and in a more messy way. I usually wait for the bubbles to form again before I wash my face.

Once you wash off the mask, “waaaahhhh~” is the kind of feeling you get. It makes my skin feel very clean, moist and healthy. The first time I used this product I didn’t like it a lot because I wasn’t sure how to apply it properly. As I mentioned before I didn’t know that the mask was sticky so I took a big amount in my hand tried to blend it but then I ruined the parts where bubbles had already formed. So it is important to apply it properly.

Yves Saint Laurent Créme De Blush~

Hello everyone! 

I’m back after I disappeared for a long time! I’ve been traveling and when I got back 언니 was back from her trip too so we were busy with missing each other! I’ve been meaning to write something even if it was a short review but while traveling I didn’t have any time to write anything but I bought cute things to write reviews about so that’s good!

Today’s item is Yves Saint Laurent Créme De Blush in No. 2. It comes in a beautiful package.

I always wanted to purchase one of these and I had my eye on the orange one but I usually never wear orange based blushes so I never got it. However after I saw the pink colour on Kara's 구하라 (Gu HaRa) I knew I had to get one of these! The colour she was wearing in the magazine pictorial was a limited edition for the spring season so unfortunately I couldn’t get the exact colour however it is similar. 

This cream blush comes in beautiful packaging, the pot is shaped as a square and it has a beautiful twist off cap that has the Yves Saint Laurent logo on it. It looks very sleek and classy. As expected from a high end brand.

The colour looks beautiful in the pot. In the photo it looks like a very bright pink however in real life it looks a bit more like rosey pink on the darker side. 

The texture of this blush is amazing! It feels extremely soft to a point that you don’t even feel it. A little dab is enough for one cheek. It blends really well too so you don’t have to do fixes with your foundation or BB cream. I have to say that the texture is very genius as it would be great on both dry and oily skin because it’s a cream blush.

Excuse my very dry hands but as you can see this blush has great colour and pigmentation. It’s sheer enough yet pigmented enough to create a great flush on the face. It’s finish is not creamy nor powdery. It sets on the face very naturally and beautifully. In the photo above to show the colour well I applied it excessively however a little of this blush goes a long way on the face. Another great thing about this blush is that you can use this blush as an eyeshadow or even on your lips if you want a very natural finish.

I think this is a great blush for everyday use and the colour is suited to all the seasons as it looks like a very natural flush on my skin colour. I’m still in love with my Dior Rosy Cheek blush however with the upcoming extremely cold weather this cream blush will definitely be more loved by me rather than powder blushes. 

I think this is a great blush. It is expensive compared to Korean brands that I always review but Yves Saint Laurent is a luxury brand. However, I can say that it is worth the money as it is a great product. I will definitely do a comparison post between this and my Etude House cream blush for one of my upcoming posts.

Hello everyone! 

I'm back with a short review on my favourite hair product that I discovered few months ago. Some of you might know but I always mention that I have quite damaged hair so I'm always on the hunt for good hair products that can nourish the hair and ease the frizz in the hair. I got a haircut about 2-3 months ago and cut my hair short  During my visit in one of the Nature Republic stores my mom kept telling me that I should get something with Argan oil because apparently that's the "it" thing lately for a lot of things! 

I ended up getting the Argan Essential Deep Care Hair Pack as this was displayed as one Get It Beauty (Korean Beauty Show) best! I use this mask on my hair every 2 weeks and I can definitely say that I can see a difference! My hair feels extremely soft and it looks very shiny after I use this mask!!! It gives me the perfect hair texture after a blow dry and I can say for sure that it even nourishes my hair scalp very thoroughly that it helps my hair grow healthily. 

I can understand why this was chosen as one of the best products in Get It Beauty. I recommend this to everyone, even if you have healthy hair it is still important to feed it with necessary nourishments so you shouldn't neglect using such products! Even the smell of this mask is amazing!
