A world map from Steven's Geodata & Rankings separates countries with natively developed official scripts from those using imported ones. Egypt and Libya are red despite Arabic being official, because Arabic arrived through conquest. Morocco is blue via Tamazight written in the native Tifinagh script. About 44 of 195 countries qualify for blue, concentrated in the Middle East, South Asia, and East Asia.
