QUICK VENT (not really a vent)

Okay so this all happened at my school . The whole story is about a girl , let’s call her Oakley. So you know me and the twinzies, I really adored them but they mostly pissed me off and I didn’t want to engage with them anymore. So I befriended Oakley, she had a lot of friends and she hated my original friend group (had insane beef with two of my friends) so I thought it would be a spectacular idea to start talking with her. Açaí was also friends with her, and I was desperate for his attention back then so I genuinely had a feeling that I SHOULD talk to them. Everything was going fine, she invited me to sit with her at lunch, gossiped about others to me, I felt very included and wanted to start a deeper friendship with her. We sat together during group work etc. But here’s the catch-> our school GC.
Our school GC will be the main character for a moment. The school GC was very questionable and I often saw horrible stuff on there (like the anthem of Israel, N-word spamming , pictures of my classmates, and mainly stickers of nearly everyone in our class) . You’d probably think, it wasn’t a big deal at all right? It was , Oakley took pictures of other students and made stickers out of it, it triggered some of my classmates that hard , that they decided to confront her about it. It wasn’t just one of them, it was like ten people. They were begging her to delete it, and she left them on read. And all of this just kept going until one of my classmates ( the troublemaker of our class) posted a picture from my friends channel on WhatsApp. (She was a girl from twinzies). She was doing the peace sign on the picture, and it had “Outside” on it (the text). Not even ten seconds after, Oakley managed to make a sticker out of it, and afterwards started literally spamming stickers from my friends’ channel on WhatsApp (along with one of the friend’s sister). Obviously the girl with the peace sign immediately told them to delete it, she even confronted Oakley directly in the group. Now wanna know what Oakley fucking did? She took it as pure sarcasm and when my friend continued to beg her to delete it, she kicked her out of the school GC. When I asked her why, she said “she wanted me to delete herself, so I deleted her” like it was some form a joke. Next day at school, me and the twinzies were planning a confrontation with our teacher about it, since my classmates started doing the peace sign and mimicking my friend whenever she passed by. And obviously she was very bothered by it. So we met our native English teacher after our last period, and decided to tell her about it. We told her nearly everything, and she asked us a few questions. She later asked if one of us could send her the screenshots that she could later use as proof. One of my friends volunteered for it but afterwards found out she doesn’t know how to send screenshots, so she asked me if I could send it to the teacher instead. I said yes, with a huge feeling of guilt since I was basically snitching on Oakley. Eitherway I still did it.
Days passed by, and one random Monday morning, the school therapist came in and asked us to align the chairs in a circle shape. Oakley already knew what was about to happen, since she asked me if I knew anything or if I saw the twinzies report it to the teacher. Out of pure panic, I told her I escorted them but didn’t engage with the planned report. So on Monday, the therapist, our homeroom teacher and the teacher we reported it to were all there. They asked all of us about the school GC, and many people said they had to leave it since they received approximately 3000 messages per day , which is horrifying. Later on, they all gave us small sheets of paper. It was pretty simple, they asked us to name the biggest nuisances of the school GC. When the papers were handed in, they read it out loud. Oakley’s name was on EVERY FUCKING paper, except two. The two “different” papers were from Oakley and Milk. Oakley stated “I think the biggest nuisance is ___ and ___ (my two friends from twinzies), they keep complaining and are depressed when I kick them out.” Sorry? That’s the most insensitive way you could’ve of put it. Milk’s paper was nearly the same, it just didn’t mention the depression part. We continued with class that day , until my homeroom teacher came in and asked me if I could go with her, I already knew where this was going-> I was heading into the therapy room. When I came in, I saw all three teachers once again. They asked me “Why did I suddenly switch up on my friends”. Well I didn’t really know what to say but they interpreted it as “me being scared of Oakley” (which I am, this bitch could literally ruin your life in three days minimum) . Then they also confronted me about my name appearing on the paper confessions like twice. I said it will never happen again, and I somehow got out of trouble. When I was about to leave, they told me to stop being scared of Oakley, that I have a strong willpower and will definitely get out of it. When I came back, Milk immediately ran over to me and asked if I got in any trouble. I said no , but she apparently got threatened with a reprimand from our homeroom teacher. When we were about to leave for lunch, my homeroom teacher came again and asked Oakley if she could come with her. I joked about the fact she’s “cooked” and BOY, she was. I asked her afterschool how did it go. Instead of replying to me like a normal person, she immediately lashed out on me, saying “Oh my fucking God stop fucking asking me how did it go”. That threw me off a bit but I managed to ignore it. Açaí also kept asking me how did it go with Oakley, HOW AM I SUPPOSTED TO KNOW?” . Like an hour later, a notification popped up on my phone, it was Oakley. She said she got a rebuke from the principal, but that wasn’t true. Açaí texted me stuff like “That’s obviously so not fair, she doesn’t deserve that” yeah yeah bullshit.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday-> Oakley didn’t attend school at all , on Thursday she had a dentist appointment regarding her braces. And then on Thursday night, I sent her a video from TikTok, appreciating our friendship. She replied , and oh it was catastrophic. “Stop texting me, I don’t want to talk to you anymore” obviously I asked why, she replied with “I have my own reasons but that’s none of your fucking business”. I was spiraling out, she meant quite a lot to me. I shared the screenshot of the message to nearly all of my “new” friends. I began spamming Oakley , and then decided to write her a subtle paragraph. She replied with “You know, I’m just in my mood, I don’t even know why, sometimes ___ pisses me off, sometimes she pisses me off, I really just don’t know” I brushed it off and texted her “Goodnight, good luck for your appointment tomorrow” . She reacted with a heart emoji to that message. And on Friday, it was the final day of a school, not so long ago. I came into class and was leaning against a wall that was right across my desk, when she came in , she just passed by me as if it was nothing, nearly knocked me out. She also came with Milk. Luckily Açaí wasn’t paying attention to her at all, but when the bell rang, he went over to her desk and started doing some random “emotes”. We received our report card and had to wait approximately an hour before lunch came. When I came downstairs, to get my things from the locker, Oakley, Açaí, Milk and two other friends were standing in a circle. I asked Oakley to give me back my shoe, since we had matching shoes (one hers, one mine) . She gave me my shoe but seemed really bothered about it. Then Mango came up to me and asked me if I would go out with her, before lunch time. I said yes, and we went to the bookstore together. Then Mango offered me to go to the park with her, the spot I used to go to with all of my “new friends” (like Oakley for example). When I came there, they started throwing me side-eyes like crazy, only like two of them greeted me and even Açaí ignored me. Then Milk came to Mango and wanted to tell her something, in private :( . But luckily, Mango told me right away. We were sitting on a bench together, she bought a book in English and wanted to try and read it. Then the topic came, she told me that Milk is under an impression that I sent the screenshots to the teachers (since the teachers mentioned (back in Monday) that it’s useless to delete anything now, that they already have it clipped) and that’s the whole reason why Oakley doesn’t want to talk to me. So obviously I appeared to be bothered , and Mango told me “I don’t think that’s true, you also sent the stickers and stuff, so why would you snitch on yourself?” I was nodding along the whole time, since I obviously didn’t want to drop my act. Then we went to lunch together, I asked Milk and Oakley if I could sit with them (with Mango too) and they gave me the dirtiest look possible , but still nodded anyways (I know for a fact they didn’t even want me there😭😭) I finished my lunch, wished Mango a peaceful holiday and went home.
