AU Sans Cast of For the Forgotten Ones by Im_Sorry_Buddy

Finished FTFO recently and... well, it's a gem. Kind of nervous to post, but I felt like drawing out all the sans variants from the cast and wanted to put this where other FTFO fans could see it.

Before anyone says anything, yes, Ive taken massive liberties on all of their designs. I put a lot of time and thought into the design choices I made (though they are very rough and sketchy) and would love feedback in the comments if you have any time.

Im working on a reference sheet with just the Ink variants from this fic (Solus, Prism, Healer and Healer's various outfits throughout the story), as well as some mini-comics of my favorite scenes that I may post later. Maybe.

Dreamtale Thoughts #2

Highkey this is because I watched the Odyssey movie with my family today, but I REALLY liked the hunting/archery aspects in that movie, so obviously I have to apply it to my Dreamtale interpretation, since I headcanon Dream as a hunter.

Dream's bow was built by his own two hands after he completed his archery training – it took years to make, because he searched high and low for the best materials. Thus, it is a very personal weapon completely customized to his skills, magic and preferences alone, making it incredibly difficult to wield for anyone else (also considering he's way stronger than your average mortal). Even his arrows are handcrafted by himself, at least the physical ones. Since his bow is imbued with his magic, he can use it to shoot magic arrows – sometimes he doesn't even need the bow, but that particular move is powerful magic that he doesn't use all willy-nilly.

His bow is made of a particularly old, sturdy wood, and since it's a recurve bow, people find it very difficult to string it. Ink tried to once, out of curiosity, only to nearly knock himself tf out since the whole thing recoiled in his face. The only other person to successfully string the bow besides Dream is Blue, mostly because he closely watched Dream perform it multiple times and has the strength required. Nightmare is the only other individual who can do so as well.

Dream likes to test the string by pulling it back once after he strings it – the sound it emits has become somewhat emblematic of his presence.
