phenomenon that i think is funny

As a person on the millennial/genz fringe I've always been told that I will never own a home. I've spend a majority of my life Ed Edd and Eddy style trying to figure out ways to become a home owner. Stuff like tiny homes, prefabs, literally squatting and hoping I stay there long enough to get adverse possession. None of which I went through with ( I had a Scooby Doo villain style real estate plan involving wolves ).

I'm about to purchase a house and it is beyond crazy to me the hurdles that it takes for people to get homes. Especially since there aren't really starter homes anymore. I'm hoping this is my forever it at least almost forever home. All of my diy videos Ive saved up for 10 years may finally come in handy.

I love work done by @passionpeachy on their work of mushrooms. My favorite mushrooms are Morel Mushrooms. They are always blending into their environments and it takes a keen eye to find but they are worth finding. Also this is my first completed piece of 2024.
