Do you often go hunting or fishing? Save a little bit of that millionaire money by going down to the lake or going out into the woods? I can make a pretty mean venison stew, my Dad's recipe!
Don't know about often, but I do hunt every once in a while. Not many lakes here to go fishing in. But animals to shoot, there are a few. Same price as going to the store to buy stuff, though, so it doesn't save much. It's just quicker than driving into town.

Drawing, huh? Cool skill to have. Uh... guess it's a compliment that you want to draw me, but what bear I am? Question I've never been asked, that's for sure. Between a polar bear and a grizzly bear, I think I'm more of a... polar bear. More suited for the cold and survival in barren environments.
In a zoo, though... Right. I... don't really know what to say to that one. I guess if you were a good zookeeper, I'd let you feed me and all that, but I'm not sure marshmallows are good for bears. Salmon, though, that's good. Food's fine with me if it's a hypothetical, I suppose.

Yeah, a sensible way to exist. Good way to put it. It's nice. Quiet. Unsettling sometimes, but mostly calming. Part of the reason I have my cabin at all - it means I can get away from everyone else and just enjoy the quiet. A luxury, like you say.
You keep plants? That's nice. Must be pretty calming, having a garden of sorts. Wouldn't mind some plants myself, if my cabin allowed it. Too cold, unfortunately. And I'd probably forget to water them anyway, so... yeah, they would probably die pretty fast. A real art, keeping plants. But you keep plants. That's nice. Pretty impressive. I'd be interested in what plants you have, if you'd like to share.
Sincerity. Huh. Haven't been called sincere in a while, if ever; the job, y'know. Running around with a gun constantly doesn't leave much room for sincerity. So it's nice to hear that you hear sincerity in my words.
Perspective? Hm. I guess it has. It's a solitary existence, really, being alone in my cabin all the time, but it makes me appreciate the calmness of retirement. It's strange, waking up and not having to think about what job I'm going to be doing next, but... it's also nice. The forest nearby is nice to walk around in sometimes, too. I generally have more time to just... be. Which is a bit of a foreign concept, but I like it. I don't know about any insight provided, but it's definitely peaceful.

Lighting a cigarette in the snow's not too difficult. You just have to cover the flame and block the wind so it doesn't extinguish before you even get to light your cigarette. Or just get one of those fancy lighters that are wind-resistant. And yeah, might be a little tired. Old age does that to you sometimes. Doesn't mean I can't build a snowman, though.

honestly my health has been doomed from the start. Everyone in my family had some form of health problems, and I had the "luck" of inheriting it. I inherited my dad's back, knee, and ear problems, and my mom's connective tissue disorder.
Well, shoot, kid. Sounds uncomfortable. Bad luck, inheriting all that. Best I can do is tell you to take it easy and get yourself a hot water bottle or ice packs. Trust me on this. I know a thing or two about achy joints, at least.
