global auxlangs tend to work on the principle of being easy to learn for as many ppl as possible and so they often are js romance languages, perhaps a bit of other European stuff thrown in. which makes it easy for europeans to learn but anyone else on the global will find it as hard as normal

so why dont we make an auxlang thats equally difficult for everyone

i like how Duolingo js nonchalantly added same sex relationships in some stories and exercises, but im indifferent to this article and officially making some recurring characters gay.

one thing i can say is none of these characters i associate w being gay and i didn't clock any of them (i think thats js me tho ive def had stories w bea talking abt a gf).

theyre not gay characters, theres the art savant (oh yh he does like men now that you mention it), theres the lazy one (wait lin, its pride month right? arent you like.. included in that? you are?! thats cool) and theres the (uhh woops idk what bea is like but you get what im tryna say right)

The metric structure fights the lexical stress in tye first half of the line (/ādvéni/ēt), and together with the three spondees slowing the line down, the effect created is that the father of gods is making his disappointment known through his unsweet, jerky speaking. The second half, however, coincides naturally with how it would be read in prose (ār/cêssite/ têmpus/)(â = combination of á and ā, idk how to actually write the two accents above eachother), giving the line a final, lasting impact.

A child is punished for moving and making noise.

The teacher sees the child sitting still and being quiet. The teacher treats this as the baseline.

Since the child is putting a lot of effort into sitting still and being quiet, doing so distracts from paying attention to what the teacher is teaching. The child then is punished for not paying attention.
