Mid-Year Recap 2013

When we look back on the year so far, we start to put into perspective what we’ve done and what needs to be done here at C+Ck Studios. We really want to push the studio in a direction that helps us to not only continue the quality of work our clients so rightfully deserve, but to allow ourselves to take on projects that continue to challenge us. Projects that help will help us grown as artists.

We have been fortunate enough to work with several different artists, and organizations to showcase our work and really separate us from just another motion and design studio. Working with local community organizations such as Plaza Media Arts Center, SevenMinusSeven, Of Colors a Creative Collective, and Queen City Cupcakes has especially helped us in making many of our creative endeavors a reality. We are proud to showcase our achievements so far but we must say it could not have been done without the support from those around us. Whether you came to a exhibition, one of our figure drawing classes, or even one of our studio parties we thank you, thank you, thank you.

There are only more good things to come-

We teamed up with Plaza Media Arts Center this June to bring you Animation Sensation. An animation summer series.

Super collaboration between C+Ck Studios, SevenMinusSeven, and Queen City Cupcakes of Patchogue.

Hosted on Wednesdays at Queen City Cupcakes, we screen various types of films, independent, narritives, documentaries and more.

June Updates

So it's been pretty busy here at the studio! Besides our regular gigs we are proud to announce we are teaming up with Plaza Cinema Arts Center this summer! We will be teaching two stop motion animation classes for ages 7-17. Be sure to check out http://plazamac.org/education for more info.

In other news we've also been doing a few illustrations for Plaza MAC as well! Above are some of the characters we designed for them. These will be used int their advertisements for classes including screenwriting, animation, acting, and film making. We are really excited to be working with them and hope for a really great summer!
