Finally finished this piece. Not sure if I like it anymore. I am obsessed with painting ink onto this laminate stuff, it really gives a great effect.

And then I decided to draw in red. Being a real heart and all...
Started drawing this anatomical heart yesterday while I watched the Dallas Buyers Club. No connection between the two, I just found it easy to draw and watch at the same time.
Some days it feels as though there are so many ideas converging in my brain that it is impossible to extract them into separate entities. A mass of waves independently formed, yet they coalesce to create one colossal body of weight.
“The Body,” a series by Alan Herbert
This is produced by a hand drawn photogram on top of a medium format photo.

Wow, this is so beautiful. I imagine it to be amazingly beautiful in real life. Light refraction and reflection can be truly transporting.

"I am always sorry for Turner - it would have certainly made him sick, and he wouldn't see the joke. Have a nice Christmas." I love receiving letters from my Grandfather, he has this wonderfully cynical way of reducing the Art industry into a pathetic excuse for creativity. While still wishing me a Happy Christmas.
