* WALTZING TOWARDS THE EDGE OF A CLIFF WITH NO SAFETY NET BELOW . once he made the plunge , there was no guarantee what was to come of him . he’d be at the whims of everything at once , but he’d reasoned that at least he wasn’t jumping alone . the anticipation for that final leap into debut was both the most nerve-wracking moment of his life & most exciting . while his mind had wandered to what other trainees were doing at b3 tru camp , it made the reality of debut that much clearer for simple fact he & his members weren’t in attendance . he’s grateful for that but it didn’t stop him from pondering .
luckily enough he knew someone to help push down the curiosity , someone he didn’t hesitate in calling up once that realization set in . yena . delight is swirling itself over his lips just on hearing her greeting & telltale little crinkle creasing his nose . ❛ you really covered all the bases just like that? ❜ a wisp of laughter , adjusting his phone in his hand . ❛ i was hoping you had some stories— it can’t be that boring . ❜
“yes, just like that.” yena laughs, shaking her head happily even though he can’t see her. she hums to herself as she tries to conjure up any gossip or stories. “nery got given a misspelled name tag so people were calling her the wrong name for ages - you can imagine how well that went down with her.” she breathes out a laugh through her nose. “huh, what else? i was practicing with a girl from one of the other companies and i told her i dropped out and she nearly had a heart attack. that was funny ... but i think you had to be there. if anything it’s more boring here than it is back at summit. i actually miss filming joy tv.”
“now, enough about me, seriously! if anyone has steam to let off, isn’t it you? debut preparations, how exciting! and your debut is actually in sight.” she sighs. “i feel like joy tv has been nothing but three years of debut prep, without any debut. i don’t know that we needed this last season. maybe our promotions would’ve overlapped!”
