Brandon's heart raced in a way that he hadn't experienced in years. "We're heading home from New York. I took Ami to see her first Broadway show," he smiled before noticing the way Amity was watching the other man.

“Brodway, eh? Sounds like fun.” Seth took a moment to smile down at Amity. There was a part of him that couldn’t believe that Brandon had a kid. But it had been a while since the two had any kind of contact and wilder things have happened since then. “Did you have a good time with your dad?” He asked Amity.

"I go up every few months, see my friends up there. I try to support whatever shows they're in," Brandon smiled. Amity moved forward a little. "We saw Lion King! The puppets were so big!"

Will gave her a warm grin. "You're support really means the world, Becks," he said, fidgeting with a marble mesh in his right hand. "This is my chance, for my people."

"I can tell by the way you're movin' that you're probably feelin' a little achy," Charlie noted, taking out a notebook as if she were charting in her office. "Fever? Congestion? Sneezin'? Coughin'? Wheezin'? Sore throat? Abdominal pain? Nausea?" She rattled off a list of potential symptoms for him."

“Uh, definitely the congestion and abdominal pain. Nausea on and off and coughing is every other hour in a fit.” Chris sighs, it obviously starting to wear him down. “Am I gonna live doc?” He jokes to her knowing she is pretty serious right now and just wants her to feel a bit more relaxed. They are friends after all. “But your right I am achy. What is your notebook telling you?”

"I'm definitely goin' to want to give you a full once over," Charlie nodded. "Then we'll get you comfortable, and I'll order some things to get you some soup goin'."

"Good boy," the words dripped with a sarcastic sweetness. "Up against the wall so I can let you free to follow me," the doctor spoke, keys jingling in his hands.

There are people he loves hearing that from. The doctor is not presently one of them. That doesn't change the fact he does submit, because what else is there to do? He's on the verge of a good thing, here. So he loosely grabs that IV pole and walks backwards, facing the doctor the whole while, until he's close enough to the wall he's anchored to he stops, turns, and shifts, both hands slipping to his lower back. They've done this plenty now.

His forehead thunks against the wall. He's grimacing.

"I'm impressed," the doctor moves in to unchain him from the floor. "Maybe we have eased a bit of the fight in you, Gabriel. The girls will put you in a dental gag to make sure that you're not able to bite them."

I'm gonna get kinda heavy for a minute, so I'll put things under a cut, but please check tags before you read on.

I've been kinda going through it since may, so having jay come back right now means so much to me. We found out in may that my step-dad who was my abuser for much of my teens and early adulthood passed away. I had some very complicated feelings around his passing and to be honest I still do. This wasn't helped by being left out of his obituary.

Then in June we had not only the anniversary of a flood in our area that my mom had been trapped in, but the two year anniversary of my pappy's passing from lung cancer which this year coincided with father's day. So that didn't help.

Having one of my biggest comfort wrestlers return after over a year during a time when my depression has really been weighing me down means so much.

He's got a massive bruise forming over his eye.

He didn't expect a fight, he expected guns and being able to run off, but he was caught last minute by the person he was supposed to be offing, though he managed to yank himself free and get the one shot off he needed too.

Other problem, guy called the cops. Clark doesn't know WHAT he expected, guy was dealing meth in a meth lab in Meth City, USA, and was one bad accident away from a massive explosion. \

Maybe they thought Clark was the bigger prey. Jokes on him.

He's scampered a few blocks before tucking in an alley, watching as blue and red lights flash. He would consider himself safe...if he didn't nearly plop his ass on the feet of someone who's ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
