Heyy idk how else to message this, but the dm you sent me for the secret santa isnt working and im not sure how to fix it… you dont have to answer this publicly or anything, i just wanted to let you know because i cant figure it out.

yeahhh, that would be because of the shadowban :( i was worried that would happen when i realized i was shadowbanned. thank you for letting me know, so that i can communicate it with the team. in the meantime, i can add you as a friend on discord so that i can send the details over that way, or i can send you a dm from my main. whichever one you'd prefer -- i'd just like to limit the dms i send from my other blogs, as i don't want to get them shadowbanned as well ^^"

i'm still shadowbanned but i at least feel well enough to tentatively return to the fandom. i'll try not to burn out again by maintaining my variety of interests. if you're interested in my oc stuff, i have an official oc tag (#kyou's ocs) on my main blog now. my fic will probably still be on hold, but we'll see where we end up with that bc we do intend to finish it some day

There’s something so interesting to me about how Smitten is so clearly a perfectionist in a way and has such high expectations for both himself and his romantic relationship as a whole but will also settle for something that’s not ideal as long as he can frame it as being something that’s in someway romantic. Like you see this if you betray Thorn or if you choose to stay with Damsel. It’s clearly not what he wanted or had planned but if he chooses to see it as romantic he’ll use that as a crutch for the situation to be fine.
