AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMUNITY MEETING ON INCLUSIONARY ZONING

 WHAT IS THIS COMMUNITY MEETING ALL ABOUT?

Developers need to build more affordable housing, especially in Toronto’s suburbs like North York and Scarborough. We need to fight to keep our neighbourhoods affordable! Inclusionary Zoning will make it mandatory for developers to build more affordable housing in new buildings, both rental and condos. The Inclusionary Zoning policy is currently under review at the City and will be finalized soon. It’s important for low-income communities and people of colour to get the most affordable housing possible from this new policy. Now is the time to take action! Here from the IZ Coalition, Jane Finch Housing Coalition and Power in Community. Join our online meeting on Zoom to learn more.
