My take on canon trans rep in Hiveswap so far:

Charun: Pretty good!  Pretty weird as well.  I really like Charun, but that’s not a surprise to anyone who knows anything about me.  No complaints so far, but I’ve got this awful feeling of dread that something horrible is going to happen, and knowing the creators, it probably will!  I’m still glad Charun didn’t turn out to just be a big worm joke but that bar is too low

Cirava: Eh, okay.  They’re cool.  Good aesthetics.  Falls into some weird stereotypes, but it’s alright since at least they’re not the only nonbinary character. The writing in their Friendsim isn’t very good, in my opinion, but the fandom’s done some really cool stuff with them.

Lanque: There’s a lot to unpack here but honestly I’d rather just shoot whoever packed the damn suitcase.
