introduction post!

hi! i'm noodle (or void or noodles)

i like to draw, paint, write, and sometimes sculpt

i'm 20+, enby and gay; english isn't my first language

all of my art is made by me for myself and my family, or for the process of it

multifandom to the extreme, so i like practically anything i come across (most of the time, some stuff just doesn't really stick or is too disturbing for me), however, i don't really do fanart, at least for now

main stuff i like (in no real order):

hollow knight (including skong), ori and the blind forest (sequel as well), starbound, hyper light drifter, sky cotl, ULTRAKILL(<3) and a whole lot of other stuff that would make the list way too long (im new to blogging so idk how to make a linked fandom post just yet)

Welcome back to me after uh... roughly half a year without drawing anything

I went a bit insane over the past 4 days and wrote perhaps the bloodiest piece of fiction in my life (3 of them actually) its been 2 weeks and now there's 6 of them with a 7th on the way...

I might write more for this collection, I'm not sure yet. Depends on if I would still want to eat them once I've rested from binge-writing for this long (most likely yes)

these are technically edits of the initial drawings, but made in the same year (in the case of the 2nd in the same month, actually)

as i described them to a friend once, they are my 2 humanoid ocs (that i dont have drawings of) that i decided to turn into bugs hk-style and then accidentally created a whole bunch of lore for

i have a story (2 actually) in the works for this version of them that i might publish someday, but that will take a while (for both finishing the writing and having enough guts to make them public)

ok this one is fun. first 4 were made in december of 2023, last one in december of 2024

inspired by "your blood" by aurora (i listened to it + the "ultrakill the ultramix (with voicelines)" for the whole 25 hrs that ive spent working on it in 2023)

many mistakes were made in my process that made it far less enjoyable than it could've been, but it was my first ever "big" work (and first ever drawings that were not just "character standing still in white/gray void) so im still proud of myself for creating this

there were 2 more pages planned (i even have sketches for them), but i doubt i will be coming back to them any time soon due to simply running out of steam for the idea

the first 4 pages were drawn during a 25-hr binge of just drawing. caused by me getting prescribed antidepressants for the first time in my life and them turning out to be the wrong fit for me (started working on day 1. that. should not happen), after which i burned out completely (the 5th page was mostly finished, i just didn't know how to do the background for the last frame and got too frustrated) and didnt want to touch it again at all until literally a year later

i might finish the other 2 pages this year, but im not sure bc i feel like i should redraw the entire thing instead and just include the last 2 pages in that

more magnets from 2024

both glow in the dark, though differently

1st one has the brightest glow for the background, then the heart itself gets brighter the lighter the color is, it also gets squishier. 2nd one glows on the silver lines only (and is flat)

my first experience of decorating a cookie (gingerbread actually but still), around the start of 2025

iirc the icing was just icing sugar + water, though may be wrong (i was not the one who made the materials, just the one decorating)

a glow-in-the-dark magnet which was very nice to paint, also from 2024

though i messed up while varnishing, and the pink later bled into about half of it (though its mostly unnoticeable to anyone but me)

this is old as BALLS (i think this is from 2019-ish?) and got featured on the fanart highlight for sky and i keep forgetting that it exists despite the thing sitting on my shelf in plain sight

still proud though, its nice

better now though, im finally medicated and have friends and feeling better

guess this blog will finally be of use despite how little i actually draw :)
