“Also—- I’m dragging you to the next Avengers movie.”
"I can’t wait! Who doesn’t love the Avengers?"
"Apparently people like that exist."
”I may or may have seen Thor three times, but that doesn’t matter.”
"Was it worth it?"
"Sweetheart, it's always worth it. Just like Catching Fire."
”It’s a miracle, I’ve come out of my nerd cave. Someone care to join me for McDonalds?”
"I’m in." Samuel gestured to the girl with a smile. "I’m kind of into something not totally deep fried."
"Good, I'm starving."
"Deep fried things are good, but I'm not really in the mood to get fat, so--"
"I may or may have seen Thor three times, but that doesn't matter."
"It's a miracle, I've come out of my nerd cave. Someone care to join me for McDonalds?"
“Then we’re going together. I’m gonna need emotional help afterwards, and unfortunately, you’ve just volunteered yourself. ——-Name’s Lydia.”
"I am your tribute. Emotional support will be needed on both parts though.——I’m Hazel."
"Also--- I'm dragging you to the next Avengers movie."
”Definitely. I’ve been doing a lot of work on my doodling skills. I think they’re improving every time I touch a pen.” Smile still lingered along edges of her pink lips. ”Nice ta meet ‘cha.”
"Well maybe you should show me some more of these majestic doodles, make my mind open even wider. But yeah, nice to meet you too." he continued to smile as well, eyes downcast as he tried to study his notes, the sound of boring babble echoing in his ears. "So, from a scale to one to ten how pointless do you think sitting here is?"
"Hm. lucky you, I've got my sketchbook around here somewhere." After digging around her bag for what seemed like forever, Lydia finally pulled out a hardcover book and placed it gently on the desk. "I've got like seven on these..." A shrug rolled off her shoulders. "From one to ten? Sweetheart, numbers can't explain how much I despise this class."
To do the thing or to not do the thing. That was the question. ”I’M GONNA DO IT. I’m gonna go see Catching Fire again. Yep.”
"That movie is amazing, I want to see it again myself"
"Then we're going together. I'm gonna need emotional help afterwards, and unfortunately, you've just volunteered yourself. -----Name's Lydia."
Sweetheart, no one likes trig.
I knew one girl who did. Mind you, she was a genius when it came to maths.
Seriously? I'd pull my hair out---
"…Try not to think of the downside to that."
"I-I know.
”..Your L-Lydia right?
"Yep, that's me."
To do the thing or to not do the thing. That was the question. "I'M GONNA DO IT. I'm gonna go see Catching Fire again. Yep."
"I know right? My drawings are just so accurate in intellectual meaning, I’m in awe myself." Sarcasm dripped from her words as another smile tinted her lips. "And whom might I educate again?"
"You’re like Picasso and Van Gough, only you still have your ears and different anatomy." Sam shrugged chuckling back at Lydia’s response. Fumbling with his pen Sam looked back to the teacher, too busy in their lecture to say anything, before looking back to the girl. "Evan, nice to meet you." he told her holding a hand out.
"Definitely. I've been doing a lot of work on my doodling skills. I think they're improving every time I touch a pen." Smile still lingered along edges of her pink lips. "Nice ta meet 'cha."
The first song in the Catching Fire soundtrack!
I know everyone has heard it but I’m making a master post of the soundtrack. It freaking rocks. You can buy the whole album on iTunes now!
"Oh well if he does. Can’t be that bad—-"
"Y-you never know..b-but hopefully not."
"...Try not to think of the downside to that."
But class was boring anyways.
Depends how you define boring. Mind you… I never really did like trig.
Sweetheart, no one likes trig.
A quiet chuckle emitted from the brunette’s lips. “Definitely. But, I’d say later. This lecture is totally and completely absorbing my full attention.”
"Good point, he might have a heart attack from how incredibly amazing that is. I feel like I figured the secrets of the universe." he smirked before looking at the top of the girl’s paper. "So I can thank Lydia for drawing such a vivid picture that fills my brain with such knowledge."
"I know right? My drawings are just so accurate in intellectual meaning, I'm in awe myself." Sarcasm dripped from her words as another smile tinted her lips. "And whom might I educate again?"
”I’m listening, I swear—-“
Sure you are. But class just finished, so excuse me for doubting you.
