most coaches hate it mine included and if the coach comes to the tourney make sure you go up to them and thank them for coming that leaves an impression that shows initiative and confidence that all coaches are looking for in a player plus it helps put a name to a face also dont forget youre looking at the school too if the team is great but the school sucks DONT go there education is first all in all recruiting is an annoying process but worth it! good luck and play hard everyone!! <3 (2/2)

i have some advice for young players who would like to play in college since ive seen a few asking (Im a junior in at a high D2 school) first off theres literally a place for ANYONE to play in college for many different skill levels there are tons of schools thatll hand you money to play for them you just have to make sure that whatever tourney you go to you email coaches in that area with a small video of game play nothing fancy so dont use recruiting services to make it theyre flashy and (1/2)

I'm 5'3 freshman and a little bit on the 'bigger' side. I want to fit in with the girls but feel really self conscious - what should I do because I constantly feel like I need to prove myself better than everyone else so I don't look like a lazy fat pig to my teammates and opponents.

The ‘bigger’ girls i know can hit the ball harder than i can. you just have to use it to your advantage and show everyone that youre not one to mess with. Honestly if there are going to be girls that judge you for being bigger thats rude and not like a teammate at all. I would just say work on gaining muscle and becoming stronger so you put any judgemental person in their place

So I'm s freshman in high school and I'm not the best on the team but not the worst... If you know what I mean. Around where I live there are not as many volleyball clubs and the only ones are decently far and cost a lot of money. I really want to get into jv next year but I'm afraid I won't be able to practice. What should I do?

Well if there are no clubs nearby then everyone must be on the same playing level, that meaning that no one on your high school team plays club. Youll just have to give it your all at practice and maybe build up strength on your own such as working out and going to the gym
