I haven’t posted in a long time. I don’t even know what I’m doing here.

My life for the past 5 years has been surrounded by the love of my life. We have done everything together, been through the highs and the lows. I love him more than anything. I want my future to be him.

And then I decided to move for my career, thinking he would move down soon. Now...he’s decided he doesn’t want to move here. Now, he’s decided that maybe we shouldn’t be together because of the distance, because he thinks he’s going to hold me back. I told him I’d wait. But it’s just not enough.

I wake up each morning for the past few days with the shocking reality that I no longer have my best friend and the love of my life by my side. How do I go each day without the person that I’ve shared everything with? How do I not talk to him every day? How do I not say that I love him? How do I find myself again?
